Yeah, I like mine as a daily. Still gets crap mileage though, but that is likely mostly my doing. If I feel like breaking stuff, that's what the YJ is for.

 

ya it was nice back then i should have left it the way it was but i broke the front bumper off so i went to a full plate then ripped the dinky factory skid off one weekend so i orderd a ifs skid with my bumper then everything else came later on.

and your yj is very clean thou lol if i wanted a dedicated toy i would love a lj they have that perfect wheelbase

Yeah, it's decently clean, but I got it to do fun stuff. Thankfully it doesn't have much rust, but it has its flaws.
I'd love an LJ or a later XJ, but I'm not willing to part with the YJ. Might expand the fleet if I have the shop space down the road.

 

yup it was.. i built it to how i was wheeling it and then kinda got tired of that so i dont wheel like that anymore or really much at all

and im sure it does lol its from the 90s right? and a lj is perfect but a xj is dirt cheap but i also just dont like them lol and i dont blame you for not wanting to part with that yj its really damn nice and a good summer cruising vehicle

dang! i wish i would have kept my 91 pickup i got it around the time i turned 16 but life came and screwed me when i had 3 vehicles and it had to go lol

My dad had a late 80s 2wd Toyota that he still regrets getting rid of. Traded it in when I was about 6yo for a new Bonneville, because the pickup couldn't hold the whole family. It would have been my first truck if he hadn't.

 

it happens i loved that 91 pickup but the transmission was having issues and i had just bought the tacoma and had no money basically and now had three vehicles so i kinda put my self into a panic and listed it and it was gone within 6 hours dude didnt even talk me down on the price should have asked for more lol

 

This is what I want to buy off my dad one day his 1974 for bronco with the inline 6 and 3 on the tree with 36k original miles I just want to restore it with bigger tires and a roll bar and call it good
