Yeah, that was a while back...

 

Was telling my roommate the other day that I wish we had a bigger slope on the land for sledding, lol.

 

tie a sled behind a truck thats what we did out at my grandparents with my 91

 

Trent's school has a couple that would probably would be pretty good.

We used to tie a sled to our dirt bikes and fling around in that. Was really fun on the frozen pond at my grandma's place

 

My go to is Waterworks Park. Hills for days.

When I was in Kearney Intermediate and there was a snow day, I went to Waterworks, and a KC Star photographer was there was well. Got my picture taken and put into the paper. Principal came to my class whenever we went back to school, and asked for my autograph. The high school might have some brief slopes.

/e: Actually, you know what. The intermediate school probably could work too. Bout the same as the high school.

 

We used to hit Dagley hill, one street east of 33 Hwy just north of the cemetery. They'd build a jump on it and pack it in so it would stay there till it melted.
Very rarely did you stay on your "sled" after you hit it at speed. Man, that was a really long time ago......

before i could drive we did atvs (mom no like dirtbikes so i wasnt allowed to have one lol) it was always a good time thou the 91 did the best with the roll bar in the back we would tie the ski rope on that and give it to the person on the board ,sled ,or tube and mess around in town or on friends land or family's it was always good fun

Heading north outta town on 33, turn right at Dollar General. When the road tee's, you are looking at it. Turn left and follow the road.......as it curves right
you can look from the bottom up to the top......

Familiar with the area, but I still don't recall the hill. Spent a day or 2 in the creek on the left side of turn after cemetery.

 

I had a friend in high school that lived about two blocks from there.
