I'm ok with either but I'm definitely down for Ks Rocks. I just need a few days notice to get the ok from the wife.

 

I've been down there a couple of times this year once for trail cleanup day. Just started wheeling my truck down there and its a nice spot they have air on site to air up tires and costs I believe 20 or 25 bucks per vehicle. I have the interactive map for KRocks so even without cell service I can tell where I am without trying to read a map. The main loop and most greens are easy enough for a stock truck. Since my truck is a daily I don't get too crazy but regardless it's a fun time. I'll try to meet up with you guys this coming Sat but might be out of town though. I'll also be out of town June 30th to July 3rd. But I'm down for planning a trip anytime after that. I don't have a ton of experience at KRocks but I do have there interactive map so I can tell where the hell I'm at. Its a great facility and has trails for all experience and types of vehicles.
Otherwise we could try to meet up during the week just not sure on how flexible everyone's schedule but if @Tacoma Off Course if you want to get a poll set up we could gauge on what everyone's thoughts are?
Really looking forward to getting a group of Toyotas and other misfits together outside of the Jeep guys since they seem to have such a big presence in this area.

 

That trail doesn't look all that difficult. I'm sure if I just took it slow I could avoid damage. I'd be willing to give that one a try. Good video!

I think I recall the wife saying something is planned that day. I'll have to check. What time are you thinking? I've got some work to do on my truck before then anyway. I'm missing a body mount on the bed and its bouncing is driving me crazy. Also, I need to wire up my cb.

What about Sunday the 25th? I was thinking sometime mid-late morning? I need to the my cb. Do you happen to have an SWR meter?

 

The 25th could work. No, I don't have a SWR meter. I'm running dual antennas but I only have one wired up right now. I've also got a pop in my front suspension. I thought it was the ball joint on the tie rod end because it looked to be leaking but that didn't fix it.

Might try re-torquing you lower cam bolts on your lower control arms and see if that might be it.

I could be down for anytime. I might have another friend come along but he wouldn't be able to meet up till 12:30, byte he could meet us down there later if we decided to go earlier in the day. KRocks also closes the park at 4pm on Sundays

 

So if anyone is down for going to KRocks this Sunday for a little wheeling, I'm going to be at Quick Trip off of 151st st and 69Hwy in Overland Park, KS at 9:45am. From there we can convoy down or can meet anyone at KRocks as well. It's $20 per vehicle to get into the park and they close at 4pm on Sunday. Hope to see some fellow TW members there!

@jeff b totally understand and been in that same boat but I'll be heading down regardless if anyone shows at Quick Trip or not so they'll be at least one Taco there! I also posted out on the KC Toyota
Club and might have a couple more Toyotas coming along. I'll also have a Jeep buddy trekking down about 12:30 or so to meet up with us at KRocks.

Sorry to say this guys but I won't be able to do the wheeling trip to KRocks this Sunday now. I had a sudden death in the family yesterday and will need to go out of town for the service on Monday. So not sure if you guys still want to meet up at Quick Trip but I'll let the other people know on FB as well and maybe they will still want to head down to KRocks on Sunday or at least meet up at QT.
