It's more than likely Peltier cooling. One voltage heats, the other cools (positive vs negative).

That is correct. You would have to remove the factory heater pads to install the Degreez as they are a complete heating/cooling kit. The leather also has to be designed to accommodate these units. Katzkin sews in a special foam to allow the air to travel through the cover.

    John,
I am looking at this set for my 2016 Double Cab Off Road. Would the barracuda blue match the blazing blue pearl exterior color? What would be cost for same seat but blue instead of red with blue TRD and Grey Off Road embroidered. Also is your price including premium upgrade?

I see that you have a "TRD Pro" logo available now. Is anything available for a Baja Series? I would be okay with the "TRD Off Road" logo, but thought I'd ask. There's as many Bajas out there as Pros.

Thanks! I also saw a few pages back that there is a minor durability disadvantage to the perforated seating surface. I don't have kids or dogs, but this is my everyday vehicle and I tend to keep trucks for a long time. If we forget about looks for a second, is there an advantage to the perforated seating surfaces, or am I better off with solid leather? I plan to get the regular seat heaters, not the heated and cooled option.

The perforation is primarily for looks but to be honest in the 5+ years I've been distributing on this and other forums I've had just one incident with the perf not holding up. I think with dogs/kids it is more likely that dirt and crumbs could after time fill these lil holes but I just haven't seen it. Hope this helps?

Well, "TRD Off Road" it is then. I assume that this can be had in two colors, correct?

Can you provide color matches for the light gray and dark gray in a black 2013 Off Road? I'm after something just like this, but my console and carpet are darker than the 2011 in the picture.

    DSC04099_zps8d6212f2.jpg

I definitely want the red stitching, and the "TRD" in red and the "Off Road" in either black or white. I think I'll do the perforations too. Also the heaters. What color would the back jump seats (access cab) be with this combination - the light or dark gray - and would they be leather or vinyl?

I will also need to find a shop to do the install somewhere in Central Ohio (43016).

Got the leather today. Now to the install. :bananadance:

@jhuey8947, did you happen to have a list of approved installers for the greater Seattle area? Or are you working off the Katzkin website list? Thanks, man.

I'm not seeing that color description on the color sheet available on their web site - do they use different names for the thread? I'm figuring out what I want and don't want to go too light or dark on the contrast stitching.

Yes they have different names for the logo threads only. The Contrasting stitch will go off that chart pictured.
