Sent you a PM @jhuey8947. Interested in a kit but working out the design. Not sure if what I want is doable. Thanks.

OK guys... need your opinions. I mocked this seat up. I added the red accents to a black seat. I would actually change it to the available darker gray instead of black. Something close to the interior gray of my 2017 Off Road. But it gives you an idea what I want.

    What do you guys think?

I should add, if I did these seats with red accents, I will vinyl wrap the trim piece around the head unit and instrument panel in red to tie things together.

    Like so.

I think that seat even as shown (black/red) would look good in a gray enterior. I like the stitching option better, too. Very nice.

The stiching rocks and would go with black over the gray. You can always spray your interior grey pieces black. A few tutorials on here for professional results I.e. product and instruction rundown.

I would go with the Dark Graphite color. I used that in my FJ and it is nearly an exact match to the black/dark charcoal toyota uses for their plastic pieces. I think black will be just a shade too dark (not that it would look bad after all its black)

I also like the stitching over the piping because I think it will wear better than piping. While I love the contrasting color stitching my only concern for any contrasting stitching is that they will show the dirt. In my mind, if you are planning to keep the vehicle for 5 plus years, you need to think about what it will look like when it starts to show some age. Same deal with the vented leather. I think it looks great until some dumbass drops food in their seat and then it gets worked into the little vent holes in the leather and is nearly impossible to get out. So for me, that made the decision easier -- no contrasting stitching, no piping, no vented leather for long term durability. Of course, I have 3 kids, their friends, cousins, dogs, etc where I have learned from that experience.

If your vehicle wont be subject to that kind of abuse, I think the contrasting stitching, logos, piping etc all look dynamite and really make these things pop. Just want people to think through the longer term picture and the likely reality their Katzkin seat covers will face.

I've decided on the stitching. I think it looks more refined and adds the subtle touch I want.

Yeah... I think I've decided not to go with the red wings. My wife doesn't like it but also, I think it's a bit too overpowering.

Cool man. Thanks for the tip on the Dark Graphite. I do understand your points about the wear and tear on light stitching and venting. I'm really easy on my interior though so I should be good. It's just my wife and I, no kids. And we are both very particular about caring for our cars. No eating or drinking in them. And I keep them very clean. Anal I guess.

So here is where I am. Definitely doing the red stitch. I am now considering a 2-tone. Either Black and the Dark Graphite. Or Dark Graphite and the next lighter shade of gray.

Basically, like this but colors in reverse. So dark color on the outside and lighter color on the insert and front side of headrest. And I want the difference in color to be more subtle. That's why I'm thinking Black and Dark Graphite.

PMessaged a few of you with pricing. I’m offering the best deals I can through the end of the month if your ready.
Katzkin has notified me that their industry pricing will increase here the 1st of March so in turn I MAY have to as well? I’ve offered the same pricing since 2010 and don’t make a ton on these to begin with.

Dang. Everyone must be picking their designs and bogging down the katzkin site. I always time out at various stages of the "choose your design"process.
