No not for me. I got 100% leather and the additional cost was worth it to me. I can’t speak to the feel or texture of leather vs vinyl of the Katzkin skins.

Got my kit from jhuey8947 on Thursday and installed Friday.. Well worth it people, the quality is top notch!! After having past shoddy leather jobs, I’m definitely a fan of diy.. Several steps someone could miss or skip because of laziness or going to fast.. Wasn't difficult, just tedious and rough on hands..

PM sent. Looking for a premium kit - all black, perforated body, TRD Off-Road stiched in white, white stitching. Got a quote from a shop but might see if worth the cost to install myself. YouTube video of a Mustang made it look pretty easy. Anyone have a video/guide for a Tacoma?

If you were to get the heated and cooled seats, would it be worth getting liquicell also? Or is that not even an option?

    Hey there
    Not an option
Not only did Katzkin discontinue the Liquicell but the cover needs to stay perforated to accommodate the Degreez

I figured that was probably the case.

Can you PM the cost for a 2015 double cab sport. Ice grey outers, charcoal inserts, red stitiching, and that sweet degreez set up :D

So tempting, I started to notice my OEM covers getting a little worn.

Time for bologna and cheese sandwiches for a few weeks

Question for those who put in their own heated seats from John. Can holes be cut for the hog ring attachments anywhere in the pad? Through the black elements weaving through the pad? Or just through the white part of the fabric in-between the element sections? Can the length be cut anywhere? Or just in between the sections? It seems as I line them up on the seat, the cut points would intersect the black filaments in the pad. Nervous to cut them incorrectly.

Thanks to John. Pictures of my seats coming soon.

    Hey hey
The pads are trimable on the long end away from the wire harness. You can try to cut hole in between filaments but I would suggest you just trim it for the Insert area of the foam only.
    Hope this helps

so just cut the pad short? Still not understanding completely.
So I can cut a hole in the black filament area for the hog rings or not? If not, I need to place the pad in such a way that the holes I cut are in-between the black filament areas? Or just cut it short so it doesn't overlap the seam. I'm probably not explaining well.

Do not cut in the black filament area. If you interrupt that wire it will not operate.

No love for 2015 Access Cab. Katzkin's site (and yours, since you are iFraming that model finder out to their site) says I need to call to speak to someone.

The seats can be customized just like the Doublecabs however the rear jumpers will be a single tone to match the outside color of the fronts.

Can I get a quote for a 2008 double cab premium kit, Black wrap, red center (Combo option from designer), Red stiching. I have a pair of hog clip pliers and plenty of extra clips.

Check post #43 this thread - John Huey provided outstanding service for the options (& customizations) I wanted. Yes, there was a modest increase in cost, but I received what I wanted. I've received numerous complements on the Katzkin leather seat covers, many have even asked if they are OEM. Love the Tuscany Maraschino Piping!

Got my kit from John installed. Just went with the standard black with light grey stitching. Wanted it to look OEM and I’m fucking happy
Like my truck even more now.
