Its been a while since I received my seats. The upholsterer finally had a couple of days free in between boats and cars and wanted the seats and leather on short notice. He completed the work and I installed them the same afternoon outside of the small left rear backrest. I wanted to do that one myself and haven't gotten to it yet! It took some getting used to but the seats have really grown on me!!! John did a phenomenal job of getting me through the ordering process.

For those on the fence about the different colors of red available, the above seats are the normal red from Katzskin, not the burgundy color. They also have a Salsa color which is brighter. The attached picture is a set I ordered from John, in the Salsa color, for my VW Jetta. The seat is the Salsa, the piece lying on the seat is the Tacoma, red color.

Is there an option for Access cab rear seats or is it the same deal as Clazzio, fronts only?

Planning out and would like to pull the trigger on a set of these. But for those with experience with leather seats, a question:

Perforated inserts or no? Can't say I ever recall riding in a perforated leather seat.

I think the non-perforated inserts look better to my eye, and would likely clean up easier, but am wondering how much of a difference in non-assisted cooling the perforated make, and if they perhaps offer any additional "grip" to keep from sliding around in the seat while in off road situations?

The downside seems to be making for a much more difficult clean up were something of any substance to spill on the seat (things like mud, or god forbid ketchup, etc), and seems like it would hold dirt from off road excursions more. Also hard to control what happens at all 4 corners of seating, especially with the occasional grand kid on board. I'd like to think I could control it, but we all know how that works out when kids are involved.

thanks @jhuey8947 for the hookup. my 2012 Sport with Off Road bedside decals is now a TRD PRO!

question for those who wired the seat heaters: the wire harness only has positive and negative leads. i could run the (+) to the battery but i like the idea of running off of ACC so i don't run the battery down if i forget to turn the heaters off. it seems awkward to tie the (+) to an existing ACC circuit as the draw would pull from that circuit. shouldn't there be a direct line to the battery to run the heaters and an ACC connection to the relay or something? i feel like i'm missing something important here. thanks.

Hey Hey lawless Thank you for the post of the awesome kit and install!!
I never suggest hooking up to full time power because you WILL leave them on at some point.
I suggest tapping into an ACC source at the fuse box OR just T -tapping into the positive (+) side of your 12volt outlet that is hot only when the key is on..

Once again, very Sound Advice from jhuey8947! At the very least install a relay(s) for the seat heaters. No one looks forward to a dead battery at anytime.
By the way, nice Katzkin install.

Hey John @jhuey8947 - Thanks for hooking all this up for TW
Curious about the delivered price for:
    - Tuscany Amaretto (color throughout, no variation)
    - Black stitching
    - "Combo" perforation option
    - (no heating/cooling needed, just the leather)
    - For a 2016 TRD Sport double cab
Any real-world pictures of that leather color you can provide? Thanks in advance!

So this is Mahogany. Same exact color as the Amaretto (Tuscany line). the Tuscany line of leather is just a smoother, softer line of leather that is available through Katzkin ($100 upgrade) but I rarely if ever push it. Not a fan because of the smoother texture it does show a contrast with the vinyl that is used along in the kit. My opinion

Good tip, thanks! If I wanted to go normal leather package (premium to get more leather coverage) with the same stats posted what am I looking at for price?
And if I went a shade darker brown what would you recommend?
