    So from this picture it looks like the standard kit is just fine for those that don't have passengers often... Is the premium/real leather much more comfortable?

    @zane-z those seats look great!

    I want to get a set just like that.

    What package is it?

    Black wrap, carbon fiber wings, perforated, with red stitch?

    Want to know so I can order one exactly like it.

    Anyone recommend an installation shop with good price and quality in the Los Angeles area? I'm in the SFV.

    Some stuffz
    Wish there were more options for a 2009 Tacoma. Are there any colors/options available that aren't listed on the website? Also, is there a list of emblems available?

    Tekstitch and some of the other options for newer vehicles would be fun.

    How was the installation process? Was it easy to do? How long did it take you?

    I thought it was easy, following along a YouTube video. I’d recommend removing the belt clip before removing the inner (console side) trim. I broke 1 clip on the passenger and a piece on the driver. With the belt installed you have to bend/flex it out and I didn’t like doing that. It didn’t take long at all for me but I’ve only done the front seats because I still have car seats in back. I think 2-4 hrs for removal/install 1 seat (but I also installed the heat pads at the same time)

    vacuum suck the headrests for easy install

    I read somewhere that you have to heat up the seat covers to make it pliable so you can have it fit snugly. Did you do that with your install? What about installing the hog rings? Was that a straight forward process?

    Have to no, makes it easier yes, helps get wrinkles out yes. They say summer heat will work the wrinkles out too but you can also steam the seats and massage them to work them out. I did my front seats maybe a month ago- it was probably between 40-50 and you can tell the leather was stiff. I put them in front of a space heater briefly to soften it up and I just massaged as much wrinkles out as I was pulling and securing with the hog rings. I’ll plan on steaming when i make a decision on steamer to get for my use (truck and house).

    hog rings are easy- get snips to remove the old (don’t use pliers) and I bought a bent handle hog ring plier. The bent handle makes it easier to see because your hands not in the way. There’s maybe 4 each side on the seams near side bolsters and 2 on each seams in the middle. Again I watched a video that gave me a good idea of what I needed to do but there was no talking or explanation as you went just music so that did make it a tad confusing… hence my broken clip and inner seat trim.

    Had some wrinkles but I worked out a lot just by massaging and I have no concern that once I get a steamer on it the wrinkles will be all but gone. 9D683B79-CD18-4677-969A-573F93510297.jpg

    Oh, I couldn’t figure out how to remove the headrest post guides and ended up (like the video) cutting up top and work it around the plastic. Even though you can’t see the cuts, obviously the holes are bigger because of it. Recommend figuring out how to remove the headrest guide then you only need a small cut and reinsert guide.
