I ran out of light so this sunset pic is the best I have atm. Tho John took a bunch of pics and I'm sure he'll post a few. John's install was very clean and looks sharp.

Color is close to the dash but more of a black hue. Plans are to get a center console and paint a few parts on the doors to match.

Hello, I would like to get the same seats as post#13. I believe they match the grey interior of the truck and dark accents. I want the rear seats done as well. If still on I want theses seats, perforated with no TRD embroidery. Most importantly, I am from the Canadian North and definitely want the heated leather option, and while I am at it the comfort gel option. I was wondering if there are any way to add additional heated pads to a seat . All leather seats seem to be too isolated to particular areas. A pad in the upper shoulder region and maybe two added side by side to the base of the seat to cover more area. I wonder if available?

    Hello,
I am gonna suggest that when covering the armrests that you cover over the factory cloth/foam as opposed to removing it. Reason being that the vinyl alone leaves small gaps once remounted. Also suggest using a 1/4" washer along with the #10-1/2" screws. This worked well. Plan on 30 minutes per door to r/r :)

Also when recovering the back seats it is a perfect opportunity to apply some sort of sound deadening material like Dynamat, Raamat whatever. Since the panel is removed may as well make the truck a tad quieter.

I think I am going to try a cheap alternative called Peel & Seal. It's around $17 bones @ Lowes for a 6"x25' roll.

So when I take mine in to have it done, I should rec'd to the installer to leave the cloth on?

Yup or put some new foam down otherwise there are noticeable gaps as the vinyl is thinner than the fabric and foam you remove. Worst area is the upwards curve by the door pull.

Thanks! Good to know before hand, hope the place I'm going to knows this stuff in general, considering they are considered the best interior place around.

Your seats look awesome, I think mine will be very similar in color to yours

    Will,
This Carbon kit is the same one that you had ordered as well..
Yes, I would rec'd that your installer leave the foam/fabric on IF it is in good shape. JH

Anyone interested in emailing me @ jhuey8947@cox.net some quick suggestions on how to put a little post together for the ACab rear install? Adding pics w/captions, I'm just a lil slow when it comes to figuring this shit out  Thanks, John

Do you have to remove the cloth on the seats before you install the leather or can you just put it over the seats?

You remove the fabric. This replaces the OEM seat material.
