For those of you that have the darker leathers, do you like the contrast between the leather and the original seats grey housing (the plastic)?

Obviously people must because it doesn't seem like many are getting leather the same color as the original seats.

yes. I think the darker color blends the rest of the truck together nicely. I also like the darker seats because My floor mats are black so everything matches together nicely.

I was almost thinking about getting some of that vinyl and fabric paint and doing the bottom of the seats.

I'd prefer to eliminate all the gray, but some things just dont seem like it would be very easy to do. I really dont mind the gray plastic around the bottom of the seat as much as I thought I would.

And for an update on my progress.. saturday I wired up all my heat seats so I have 4 switches just between the shifter and the center console (I'm doing heaters in all 4 of the main seats) (pics will come when I've finished everything)
then drove 9 hours to vermont, and then last night 9 hours home, and the heat definitely helped make the ride much more comfortable. Driver and passenger seats are done, just need to do the rears now.

Honestly I do not notice it that much except for the center console which is driving me nuts. John ordered a custom one and I am curious what his thoughts will be once he receives it.

I think the challenge with painting would be where do you start and stop? If anything Andrew H nailed it with painting the window controls and speaker grill area.

For those who are/had your kits installed instead of DIY's, if you don't mind saying, what did you all pay for it?

    Hey Guys,
For those of you who had placed orders all kits are being sent to you in their original manf. boxes. I just add if applicable heaters, hog ring kits, take a few pics if I'm jealous and tape em back up. Apparently Willimatics package was inspected by ?? then shipped along in a plastic bag leaving the box behind... These kits range from $300-$1300 and I've been paying pretty good $$ to ship them back out so please let me know when you receive your orders and the condition of them. Thank you all.... John

Yes, very weird that FedEx did that to mine. You'd think they would atleast place it back in a box, especially since they put a sticker saying all content was placed in original packaging (Liars!).

But everything looks fine, no damage. Will post pics when installed.

Thanks again John, you have been awesome!

My order came inside it's original box with hog rings and pliers. Everything was good. Now, just patiently waiting on my heaters to get here! Hopefully soon!:D

Now I have to wait patiently till the 28th to be all finished up.

My kit got here today and I just dropped my truck off with the installer. I hope the guy takes good care of my baby. It's the first night my Tacoma has spend away from home. lol
The kit came out perfect! Really glad I went with the CST Black. The installer is also going to black out the speaker grills on the door panels. I'll post some pics. tomorrow. Thanks John!
