KATZKIN Leather Seat Group Buy

It's a must if you already have the seats and the extra padding is awesome. I already have mine but I just did my Dads seats and he wanted the center console as well.

 

John, What he said, please get me on that list.

 

I vote for getting all the extra padding that you can. The stock console cover is almost an inch thick with cushion, versus just a thin piece of leather straight over hard plastic.

all done... time to install was around 9 hours.

I will say the support from John was truly first class. I really felt bad for a while flooding his inbox with questions, but he was always quick to answer the phone and get right back to me. i cant thank him enough. Even before i became his customer and fielded him with questions, he was always professional, knew the product, and had great communication. i couldnt have ask for anything more from John.

the install was fairly straight forward. took me around 9 hours. 6 for the passenger seat (i did that first), and 3 for the drivers seat. the drivers seat came out much better as it was my second go at it.

while i have my share of wrinkles, they dont bother me too much. Steaming them def has helped since these photos were taken. and even since the 24 hours has past since the install i can tell a lot of them are simply gone. there are some remaining on the lower inside bolster of passenger side, mainly due to my learning curve.

here are the photos.

the colors of the Katzkins are a PERFECT match to the tacoma colors. i could not believe how precisely and well made the katzkin seat covers are. They are an amazing product. 100% custom made to my specs, and they were at my door in under 2 weeks.

i did two tone, seat heat, and perforation only on the bottom lowest and inside panels, which is something i really like about them. the leather is really soft, and supple.

 

Your seats look great B737! I really want to do this mod, I guess I should start saving for it now.

 

Here they are installed, dark graphite and light grey a perfect match look stock, also did the armrests, I still have to wire up the heaters.

 

Those look awesome man! Are they the full leather or the vinyl/leather mix?

 

connected up the Katzkins seat heaters john sent me. love them! one hiccup due to my installation error on the passenger seat, but the rest works great (noted in my install thread in the tech section).

I have PM'd John a few times for quotes, and he's always been prompt and courteous. I ran into an instance where I was going to need a kit overnigted, (I'm a semi side work interior installer), and he was ready to hop on the horn immediately and make.

For what it's worth I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him, and you can't beat his prices (I've tried )

ive had to remove both pax and driver lower seat bottom leather, to reinstall both lower seat heaters. as a result of this, i upgraded a few key tools in my arsenal, and ive become comfortable enough to do upholstery work with my eyes closed. Also, have gained a solid understanding as to what works and what doesnt work when installing the heater kits. knowing what i do now, id say someone who's very familiar with this can knock out a seat in around 2 hours.

if anyone in NJ is thinking of doing this, but is reluctant to take on the job due to the work involved, please do not hesitate to reach out. I can also assist with the job itself if your not too far.

 

Can I still get Katzkin's at the prices on the first post? Sorry I haven't had time to read through the entire thread I just skipped around and didn't find an answer.
