Hey John. I got my package today but it was only the heating pads for the seats. Thought it would be the covers too. Any word or tracking number for those. They seem to me MIA.

The only real "specialty" tool is the hog ring pliers. All the others are basic tools that anyone would have in their garage.
Feel free reach out if you need any tips.

LMAO. Will do. I thought my wife would freak out when I showed her the "seat covers" I got for the stock clothe interior she wanted me to cover up and protect. Nope she loved the look and design on the custom stitching. No just waiting for Wednesday. I will reach out if I decide to try and tackle it. I love this stuff so I will most likely do it for the gratification side of it.

I am going to order Toyota heated seat switches today to put in the blanks for the heating pads.

Jesus, I went to ace hardware and got the pliers for like 12$ and 100 hog rings were 4$

Wayyy cheaper and it's working for me.

 

I used the one on the far right and it worked fine. Not sure what the bottom plier is (one with orange handles). I highly recommend a pick set as well. It helped me a lot on getting off plugs and other things on the seat.

Katzskin leather seats are in. Took a couple days but it was worth it!

 

Will the seats tighten after being warmed up or something? Those look a bit loose ^

Nice work man. Only thing is it does look a little loose and not sure if it matters but my "katzkin" tags face are on the outside of the seat (not the inside)

Loose? I think on the bottom side, there was a small gap that i couldnt get around the foam but for the most part, it looks pretty good to me, i did it myself so it wont be "professional" but i did do it to a standard that i can live with.

 

I think you got those backwards. Based on my old speed6 I retrofitted leather into the tags were on outside.

 

yea the front seat backs are switched...that's also why they look loose.
