Can anyone tell me the difference between the CST and Katzkin?

John-just thought of something.. The kit comes with leather for the arm rests right? Any chance of being able to get the same leather for the center console?

 

I have nit seen any pics with the two tone in the rear.

The material for the arm rest is included in the kit.

 

Yea but what I'm asking is if theres a way to get the same leather to do the center console too

 

Just ordered my Katzkins kit I cant wait to get them in. John is a great guy and has answered all of my questions.

 

John can get you extra material for $20 a yard. You might want to try going to a local fabric store near you since your kit has already been sent.

I will be getting black with preferated body's and white contrast stiching. I also opted for the front heaters. Man I cant wait to get them in!

 

Is it just me or does the CST look like it fits better with less puckering and wrinkling than Katzkin in every photo?

 

I think they both fit about the same. I THINK most of the pics in here were taken after they were recently installed. Either way, both companies look good to me.

I have had 50/50 on the orders.. I myself have a Katzkin kit in my Tacoma but am not partial from one company to another. CST is popular because of the TRD logo(s) that they offer as you will see on this thread once the kits have been delivered/installed/posted. Katzkin in my opinion offers a softer/smoother hide while CST delivers a thicker more dense material. Really,really a tough choice for me. Both kits fit great and both kits you will install and show off to everyone!! It is such a dramatic change. My opinion, whatever choice you make change it up a bit, make it yours.. Contrast stitching, two tone, perforation, suede, ostrich?? Hope this helps, John

I have a 05 DC Trd Non fold down seats. I dont believe I have airbags.
I would like the CST regular kit (black). With red stich. Non perforated. Hog rings and pliers. 2 seat heaters
Im thinking CST just cause my dog rides with me alot.

CST did not do the embroidery on my seats... The kit is CST but I have a friend that owns an embroidery shop...
All of mine cost $20.00
Also, of all the ones I saw with the TRD logo none had just one in the center of the rear seats.
I really wanted that.
