talk to Jspadaro on here, good friend of mine, used to have a 2.7 access cab 4x4 that gadget used to design the supercharger for the 2.7 off of. he can tell ya plenty about it.

 

Already a few of the super kits installed on the 2tr. youtube it bro.

 

Thought he used a base 5lug for the kit, the youtube is an 09 on swampers. I assume that is his.

 

I thought the oz boost was for th 2.7l Hilux engine? I could be wrong or they could be the same engine. As for the notch, I didn't like the concept of the DJM bolt in notch so I have been looking for a local shop that can do some good work.

 

Yeup I did my own, probably going to do another members here in a bit. Motor is a 2te-fe in ausi I believe, which from what I can tell is no different then our 2tr. Really all you need from that kit is the manifold as you can handle the rest stateside.

 

I doubt they sell the manifold separate though, but I am sure one can be made from a regular one with a lil bit of fab work. It would be interesting to see though.

 

not from what i remember, he shipped his truck up to MD and it stayed with gadget for several months and finally came back. havent seen the youtube vid so i dont know if that is his or not, wouldnt have been on swampers but duratracs.

Interesting, so that was 248whp through the transfer on duratracs of an extended cab. Yeup, deffinitely sold on the URD s/c now. Should put down solid numbers on a reg cab base.

 

X-brace is in, not really comfortable with how the front mounts up but it will do till I get either a beefier spacer or copy the x-runner setup.

 

I feel the same way but there isn't much more I can do besides use a bigger bolt and spacer. Unless a certain someone wants to weld up something for me.

 

Wondering if I should buy an x-runner front and back bumper to make the mounting process of the body kit easier and make it possible to restore it easier if I ever get tired of it. Hmmm

 

Probably gonna want to do that, everything clips in instead of having to tape and epoxy erything on.

 

Well the original plan was to dremel all the slots into my original bumpers but I am not liking that idea. Plus the bumpers are relatively cheap.

Anybody know what would cause this to be drenched in oil?

Damnit, how expensive? I doubt I have a warranty still in effect.

 

I think the dealership was charging about 1300 for it. But i had warranty.
