Kayak rack help

    Well the 400XT towers have a rubber pad & the 2160 fit kit (that goes into the door) has a coating. Using something else underneath it couldn't hurt at all especially if its important to you. The rack is pretty solid imo, I have had 3 12' kayaks (one between the JHulls) up there a few times. The load bars I'm using are 58" & will do a measurement between the bars tomorrow.

    From the outside edges of the load bars, the measurement is 3'5", you could probably get another inch or so on each end. Hope this helps.

    Forgive my ignorance , are these Thule rack feet a no-drill mount ? I didn't see anything on their website that show exactly how they mount to the roof .
