    I think I am going to give the MIG welder to my son and try stick welding again....bought a small "lunchbox" stick welder after I bought the MIG one. I don't know, I seem to remember the procedure better, but choosing the right rod will be my issue.

    I enjoyed welding in college....got an 'A' in the class and my very first job offer after graduating from Penn State was at their welding shop. I guess they thought I had potential. Wish I would have kept up with it over the years.
