I have seen a few posts about this issue...In a crosswind or interstate driving I get a horrible kazoo like noise in the cab...anyone willing to share their fixes with me?? I would love to hear if the dealership fixed it and if so, how. Mine is a 2013 double cab. Thanks!!

Some one had a fix for that. Hopefully they will show up

There is a TSB about the windshield needing proper resealing. Fix is find the air leak add sealant retest

There's 2 TSB's out for the issue. One being the front grille. And one being the windshield itself.

I had the grille one done, which didn't fix it on my 2012. Then they tried to reseal from the outside of the windshield and caused a disaster leak. Finally they completelty removed the window and re installed it.

It went from being a constant whistling noise at highway speeds, to once or twice in a year. So I consider it fixed now. Unless I can narrow it down to a set of circumstances no point going back to a dealer. They'll just cause more problems then they solve.

If it goes away when you push hard on the windshield (next to the rear view mirror) it's the windshield seal.

I have a 12 and was able to eliminate whistle by placing 1/4 inch drip tube in front seal. Try a search here for something like 2012 whistling sound identified or fixed, there was a good write up with pics by member Applejax or something close to that, should be ez to find as it was discussed a lot last year. Mine was obviously not from windshield or this would not have worked.

That's what I did too. I read about it here and never had it happen, except one time.

Last season, while the truck was in the hot sun, I had it on the highway and the windshield began to buzz... just like a kazoo. I pushed on the windshield and it went away. I released the pressure and the sound continued.

I haven't had it make that sound since, but I don't consider it fixed though.
