KB Voodoo Alumax Racks and James Baroud

Hey all,

I have the 14in KB Voodoo AluMAX racks on my longbed 2020. I'm going to be purchasing a James Baroud (hopefully the Evasion XXL for the wife, pup, and beer).

The racks themselves are lower than the cab top so the roof top tent itself will hang off a bit on my bed. Does anyone have any experience with how much they will hang off or if they encountered any problems with attaching these two together?

 

I have completed the installation today and I have gone to hardware stores several times for some alternatives. The rack didn't fly away as I drove at high speed. I tried to text the guy yesterday who sells the voodoo but someone responds in other thread that he would respond with a solution. Still I am still waiting for his response. By the way I have James Baroud tent too and I am happy with it and good luck with your project.

Terribly sorry for missing this! I gotta stop following so many threads! Good to know that it won't fly off but do you have a recommended parts list to get this whole thing put together?

I'm thinking 2 x 3ft bars of 6061 aluminum t-slot bars to run atop and across the KB Voodoo Bed length direction bars. But they cost a pretty penny.

Appreciate any and all help!
