Is there a bracket or any other way to mount a hi lift to the rack? Something lockable is ideal.

I don't have a hi lift yet just trying to order everything at same time. :)

Hey saw this on the tubes machine and was wondering if you could design/fab something like this but that would attach to your rack system for over the cab storage?

Anyone have pictures of using quick fists to mount tools on your voodoo? Do you have to get some bracket or can the quickfists just bolt right up to the side panels?

Installed! One corner of the cross bars was bent out of the box, any favorite enamels to paint over the cracked dip?

When did you get yours. We just switched from bubble wrap to foam. I'm wondering which of the two it was wrapped in.

I think it's the nature of the beast with how that flange sticks up unsupported in the packaging. One good drop on a corner will bend one of those pieces so matter how well it's wrapped in foam or bubble wrap. I think normally those thick custom formed foam blocks would solve your problem, but that's probably way too expensive for the volumes that you guys deal in. Maybe if you liberally added those thick right angle cardboard pieces along every edge?

It's a fairly rare occurrence. You'd be surprised what that foam can do. Was yours in foam or bubble wrap?

Mine came wrapped in foam. I do a ton of shipping of custom stuff at my work, and yeah wrapping it in foam usually goes a pretty long way. I was just sharing what I've found in case you hadn't considered it ;)

I got mine about 3 or 4 weeks ago. It was wrapped it bubble wrap. The box it came in was in perfect shape no folds, wrinkles, or dents. The flange on one of the long top cross members was bent in. I just straitened it with some pliers and it was good to go. I do need to throw some paint on it as I see some rust forming already.

Yes. Attach your kayak carriers to the main crossbars of the rack.

Helped a buddy of mine install this rack with his tonneau cover. Absolute trash... an infant can break these bolts. Highly recommend bamf instead if you want beef

The bolts we supply on this rack are Grade 2, more than strong enough for this application. There is no need to crank them down, simply snugging them up will suffice. There are multiple bolts at every structural connection, you will never ever break a bolt during operation.

This rack is way more than strong enough for 95% of Tacoma owners (as several hundred people will tell you).

If you want beef, our Premium Rack brings the beef: http://www.kbvoodoo.com/shop/premium-bed-rack

Mine has plenty of beef while holding my 130lb tent plus another 350-400lbs while 2 people and a dog are sleeping. No complaints about my rack at all. I broke a few bolts on installation but there are plenty of extras so it doesn't worry me. For the price of the rack if I wanted higher grade bolts I could just buy more from Lowes or my local hardware store.
