For the 10" rack, you have to turn the 90 degrees, like this:

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Thanks. Lots of work in this one. Finally got headlights for for full blackout. Now trying to make custom wind fairing to cut down on the little wind noise left. Awesome rack tho.

I’m thinking of doing the shortbed rack on my 2018 shortbed Tacoma. Will my tent fit this rack or will I need the long bed rack? The tents dimensions are 58”x49”x13”

Here's mine. Shortbed short rack. That's a smittybilt tent. Not sure of the dimensions but I think it's similar to your size.

Any input on the connection point of the rack to the tonneau brackets?

I'm sure much R&D was put into the design; but, it just seems like a weak point to me to have the weight of the rack and all it's contents resting on 4 horizontal bolts. I feel like there would be a great amount of sheer potential there. I've never seen anyone comment about it though, so I rekon it's not a problem.

Also, with the addition of the tonneau brackets, how much is the weight capacity of the rack reduced? All I can ever find is that they are "strong" and will support an RTT. Maybe they don't have an affect, but I feel like they'd have some affect on the rack's capacity.

The tonneau brackets are stronger than you would think. There's never been an issue with them, and our new Max Modular brackets are even stronger: https://www.max-modular.com/shop-max-modular/

Damn it! I looked there and ended up jabbing my lunch fork in my eyes but unfortunately, my vision is still 20/20 but now I have to finish eating spaghetti with my bare hands since the fork bent like a pretzel and with a voodoo hard-on in a non gay fashion.
