Been eye-ing one of these for awhile now.

Have the powder coating issues been resolved?

    Any coupons for them?

Changes that we have made to our powder coat since last year

    - All steel is now laser cut with nitrogen for better powder adhesion on the edges.
    - Three phase iron phosphate pretreatment process.
    - Black Sandtex textured coating for better durability.

    PM'd for promo code.

I went with the 14in with the tonneau brackets which puts me up almost at 17in. I love it so far.

installed the max modular 18" last night. I have a Truxedo Lo pro. I cut out and ground the back side of the tonneau cover rails to have them sit flush with the bed rack mount underneath. I didnt read through the 35 pages to see if it had been done but it can be. measured many many times but it came out nice and didnt have to lose the cover. You can pull the cover all the open if u rotate it through the back legs of the rack.

What's the height difference between the top of your Prinsu and the Max Modular 18"? I've been looking for a roof/bed rack combo where both racks sit flush and are tonneau compatible. Looks like the Prinsu sits a bit higher, but if it's a clean number I could probably make it work.

I have a 3rd Gen, but I believe side rail to roof heights are the same. (?)

Anyone try or seen anybody mounting a basket on top of the voodoo racks?

I doubt it would be difficult. It’s a pretty versatile rack

Thought I would share this with y'all. 3rd Brake light in the VOODOO for when the RTT is up there and covering the 3rd brake light on the truck. Used sheet metal to make the enclosure.

Hey Long time Lurker here...years really. Finally created an account and stumbled across this. I have the original KB voodoo Mid height long bed rack on my DCSB. When I don't have my RTT attached to the rack I move my Rocky Mounts 14er Basket down to it from the roof. If you're still curious I can post a pic of the setup.

Ask and you shall receive! I had to run and take a few of that specifically. So I just flip the configuration of the brackets that fasten the rack to crossbars and place them in the areas where they sit against the back of the slots, just in case they work themselves a little loose the rack can't actually slide backwards. There would be plenty of other options to fasten it but this is quick, secure, and didn't require changing out any hardware from it being on the roof.

I went with the Max modular rack for my truck, got my RTT over the cab. Plan on adding a prinsu rack but I either need to order their habitation rack or just cut a regular rack shorter to fit.
