Is anybody on here running an awning on the tall height voodoo rack? 4 door short box. I was wondering what length awning I can get without interfering with the rear cab door. Thanks in advance!

 

I was looking at this and looks like this one would work for that setup. Looks like it's 4' wide by 7' long.

I'm scrolling through the pages looking for answer, but has anyone used these hi-lift mounts on the side of the rack with success?

You should be able to bolt that to the side panel of the rack.

 

I am psyched to get this rack, taking it camping next weekend if I get it next week. ill post up some pics with Yakima RTT

 

I ordered a week ago to take it camping this weekend, and I don't think its shipped yet.

 

Dang, well, I guess fingers crossed for both of us. I was told things should ship by end of week this week, not sure if that is all open orders, mine, or just a guess at when it might.

 

Yea, not sure. I also ordered a RTT and its backordered too.... haha, not having much luck here!

We shipped a mountain of racks yesterday, another one this morning, and I'm working on another huge pile for tomorrow.

Orders have been crazy, and I'm a one man show, so all I can do is beg for patience.

 

Psh, a couple week turn around is nada.
Couldn't use it next weekend anyways. Harpoonfest baby!

 

Under normal circumstances we do a couple day turnaround, but the past few weeks have been nuts.

 

Hey Man, I am impressed with the communication, no complaints. Growing pains for any small business, too much demand is a great problem if it can be managed for sure!

 

What is the longest awning you could attach? ARB has multiple the 1250, 2000 and 2500

 

Probably just depends on how much you want it hanging over the cab. I'm going with a 2000 but will make sure it's mounted high enough so I can still open my doors.

 

Hey man just noticed you are Tacomaholic on youtube. Been watching your videos recently. I'm excited to say that I got my shipping notification for the bed rack over the weekend. Very excited to get it put on my truck. Just gotta get this windshield replaced too That's money I wanted to go to my awning! I will install my rack and take measurements to try and get the biggest awning possible. I am interested to see how the 2000 will mount up and if you can still get in your cab.

I'll be doing an install vid for the rack, a review vid, and then probably go over everything I'm attaching to it and how. Not sure when I'll buy the ARB 2000 awning. Hopefully soon.
