What size rotos are those? / do you have any issues with them rubbing the truck or tent?

They are the 2 gallon ones I believe. They are the ones able to link up together. No they do not rub. I also have the universal mounting plate on there.

Forgive me for not reading all 48 pages, but is there a rack that works with the Bakflip MX4 and still be able to open the cover if needed?

We have racks that work with that cover, but you will not be able to open it.

Are you by chance running any Memorial Day or First responder deals? It seems that i need to either sell my Bakflip, or bite the bullet and go with your rack and not get to open the cover. haha.

Yes. You need an 18” or 22” rack.

Some people try to use a lower rack, but the boat hangs too far off the back of the truck.

@Troyhaslamb Nice setup! Could you please snap and send a pic of how you have the Rotopax Universal mounting plate installed on the side of the bed-rack? I'm thinking of going the same route but since I have an outboard bike mount on that same side I will need to move my Rotopax forward and down a bit. TIA!

Bought the aluminum version locally but I wanted the taco max bars. Ordered them from Chad and they shipped quick and were packaged nicely! Shipping was expensive but I'm all the way across the states so I understand. I just relocated the tonneau brackets to the bolt in the back near the tailgate and it didnt sit flush against the bed. Added some washers behind the brackets so they would sit flush. Now i just need to order the longer bars.

Pics from when I first installed it.

About to assemble mine, any reason in this picture the bolt attaching the tonneau bracket and rack face out? Feel like it shouldn’t matter but aesthetically obviously would prefer the bolt to go the oppo way

That’s our old KB Voodoo rack in the picture. You have a Max Modular rack. The bolt on the new racks is the way you want it to be.

@KB Voodoo: Will the rear tonneau brackets for the 58” fit correctly with Total Chaos bed stiffeners already installed? They mount to the exact same bolt.

That’s the same set up I have and it lines up fine. Just follow the assembly instructions and tighten the rack once it’s over the bedcover. I have the diamondback so it fits just right.

Does anyone know if this rack (or the high-rise bars) will work with the Truxedo X15 Pro cover? I'm thinking of installing some "thicker" weather stripping and hoping the mounts will fit underneath the rails without too much issue?
