Great! I had Truxedo send me some thicker, half-round weather stripping which seems, on the surface, like it will give enough clearance for the mounts. I'm not interested in modifying the rails as I have seen others have done so I'm hoping this works. Any other tips or thoughts would be great.

Do you happen to have any pics of the rack mounted to the total chaos bed stiffeners? I'm thinking of getting the 58" Taco Max without the tonneau brackets and want to see how it looks and functions. Thanks.

I love mine. I have the shorter version, but wish I had the taller version now.

    what are those?
do you think you can fit the 10" rack with tonneau brackets with a rooftop tent and still carry 2 x 12 ft kayaks on a prinsu rack with j racks on top? its a double cab long box but i don't know how much it will sit above the cab or higher than the prinsu?

i think so. i have a 14? 18? the one thats just below cab height, with a tepui on it. if i had a roof rack i could put my j hooks on it and put some kayaks up. they might be a bit far forward on mine, but if your rack/tent combo is a couple inches lower then it should work.

Edit * looking at the pic makes me think it would be harder than i thought

Yeah. My kayaks are 10' but I think 12' would also fit.

Thanks for the visual, I think it will work, I have a long box as well so it guess I just need to be careful how high the rooftop tent will sit.

Love the set-up. Are those 285/75? They look even bigger than 34"

What rack / truck bed length do you have (e.g. short bed rack on a long bed)?

I'm considering get a short bed rack for my LB at the 14" height plus tonneau cover brackets (i.e. total 16.5" height). That way my RTT stays at least partially below the cab but will, hopefully, still have enough room to fit bikes underneath for shuttling.
