@Jystr have you mounted an awning and or rotopax on yours? If so what mounts are you using?

Mounted my rotopax to the side. I used the rotopax mounts but found they were too large. So right now they are only on there with 2 bolts instead of 4. haven't had ANY issues though so far with that setup. I have my RTT on there, but not an awning.

@KB Voodoo do you have any ideas for the rotopax issue above?

I've ordered a set of Rotopax mounts for mine as well so I'll see what I can come up with in my end.

Do you think you could just re-drill the mounting holes in the Rotopax mounting plate closer together so 4 bolts would fit?

Is this rack the right height to mount a frontrunner rack on top & line up with a cab rack?

If you mean is it level with the cab roof, then yes. It sits pretty flush to the same height. You mention two cab racks in your post so im not sure how to answer otherwise :p

Is this the FR set up you are talking about? If so given the bed rack is approximately the same height as a camper shell the FR rack should line up with the roof mounted rack.

Yes that is what I was talking about. Sorry for the confusion in rack names.

I have the factory trifold cover - assuming I take that off, and don't trade for regular bed rails is there any issue installing this with real estate on the side caps?

As far as I know, you can bolt it right on. One guy has that awning on this rack.

This mid height rack is now designed and off to the laser cutter. They will be available in approx one week.

    Pre-order here: http://www.kbvoodoo.com/shop/toyota-tacoma-bed-rack-fits-years-2005-2016

The first batch will only consist of a couple, so jump on it.

The tall version is 18" above the side rail caps, the mid height version is 10" above the side rail caps.

    Mid Height (10" high)
