I currently have the Alumax rack with tonneau brackets over my Diamondback cover and it works so well. Previously I had high rise bars and I can attest they work great! Quality stuff for anyone on the fence as I have hundreds of off road miles with these set ups holding my gear.

Does anyone have a picture of their bars with a hi-lift jack attached to the cross bar towers? I'm thinking about picking a jack up but would like to see how it mounts there, first. Wondering if I could still deploy my RTT if I mount it to the side that swings open or if the hi-lift base sticks up too much.

@Papadave418 When you were running your original KB crossbars (pre alu-max), I see you carried an MTB on them next to your RTT. I've got that set-up but the bike isn't fitting well next to the tent. Were you having to remove the pedals, or, was your tent pushed a few inches to one side rather than being centered? Just curious how you made it work. Thank you sir.

@KB Voodoo With the hi-rise crossbars, I've currently got my RTT attached using the "clamp" type method where I've got the two bolts into the t-nut rail of the tent, then extended on either side of the crossbars. Basically the way you'd attached a tent to any style of rail... my question is, since your crossbars have the slots in them, can I run the bolt from the tent t-slot through the crossbar to another t-nut (or washer/nut)? I'm not sure if that puts too much force on it. Hopefully this makes sense. Thank you sir.

Excellent, can you tell me which size t-nuts slide into them, or am I better off running a washer and nut up there?

Anyone know (or @KB Voodoo) what duties are like to Canada on these? Also say if you upgrade to a larger truck in the future, can you just buy a longer top bar?

Are there any options where I can have the ability to open the panels on a Diamondback?

Didn’t really get the distance I wanted between the bars when mounting with a retrax and 3 man tepui. Tepui recommended 32-48 inches apart and mine are sitting at 30 inches end to end.

A little curious if the the uprights would have fit next to the canister. Sort of automatically assumed they wouldn’t so I will be looking at it sometime tomorrow to see.

I emailed KB Voodoo a few days ago with the same question. They said it wasn't compatible.
