I love it, but eventually I’ll need to upgrade the bars to a bed rack.

The autana is about a foot too long, so it’s a huge pain but it’s a great place to hide from rain, change, and store stuff.

I also only have space for about two peoples worth of camping and the bars with a retrax cover do not space the recommended center to center distance by tepui. It seem rather stable though.

I bought this for the low profile, but it has its limitations. If it’s more than you and 1 other person, you’ll realize pretty quick how much space you don’t have.

I’ll probably end up getting a prinsu roof rack and the 10” max modular sometime in the future, but this is a great starter setup.

What pics are you looking for?

I'd imagine you could just put some window/ gasket sealer around the area where u have a gap. Should do the trick!

Does anyone know what the maximum width would be for accomodating two bikes and a RTT on the crossbars? I'm looking at a Tepui Autuna 4 and I imagine it might be too wide.

I measured the distance between my through fork mounts and it’s about 60 inches between them where it wouldn’t interfere with the bike forks coming up on each side. Meaning my rack can fit about a 5ft wide tent 160FF538-9434-4BD2-952C-69C2024ED4C1.jpg

    Thanks!

Is your rack the same width as the crossbars? It seems like the max modular would easily allow for it but I also could be very confused.

The max modular does expand to whatever width the bed is. So I measured out where I had the bike forks on the rack which is the width it takes to sit on a taco

To my friends North of the Border. When you ordered your KBV bed rails, did you pay any duties or taxes? Being made in the USA, they should be duty free...correct?

In case anyone is wondering neither of these brackets will work on a 2015 toyota branded tonneau hard flip style no idea the model it is but they will not work.

Confirmed they will not work, no fault of KB voodoo, I have just had no luck ordering these to work with the cover I have.

Just a word of caution if you have a 2015 OEM tonneau the way the rail is designed it will not allow you to mount these, I need to look at a new tonneau now if I want to run these or take it off.

I bought this set for my '18 Sport, all powder coated, off of another TW member who opted to go a different route. They're exactly what I wanted for my RTT setup and being able to keep my OEM tonneau cover. Perfect fit as long as you put the cross bars and mounts in locations that aren't on hinge locations of the cover. The low rise option here also tucks the RTT behind the cab which reduces a lot wind drag.

Kudos to @KB Voodoo for an intuitive solution.

I need to revise this, I just got a bill for $115.00 CDN from fedex.

    pst 23.78
    gst 33.29
    advancement fee 10
    gst on advancement fee 2.77
    clearance entry fee 45.35

no duties but a bunch of costs... gst and pst are fine but the other fees are a bit of a joke, just for information.

    KB,

Have you had any issues with shearing or point loading with current design for the tonneau extension?

This design spreads load and would be great to port over for the KB Voodoo rack. Admittedly it might only address the front side since the back is into the body, but seems a big improvement over the single rail locking location. I can address the shear loading a bit with a stronger bolt for now. Really want my trifold back on but have been a little apprehensive to purchase till now.

There is no load on the bolt. The bolt merely holds the rack in place.

The load is handled by the side rails of the truck.

    There have been no issues.

Thanks. Wanted to ask you since you would know best. It’s a great system so wanted to be sure before hitting the more dynamic trails in Utah rather than Florida with an RTT up top.
