Enough for most RTT's. If you're using a huge tent with four people, we suggest our Premium Bed Rack.

Look, I'm not here to bust balls but you are manufacturing a product for profit. That puts an ethical and legal burden on you to provide your customers with the information needed to safely use the items you produce.

There is a serious problem if you are putting this product out with no idea what the capacity is. If I put a "typical RTT" on it with 4 big people and it breaks sending us falling onto rocks, breaking one persons arm, incuring medical bills and damage to my truck. Your liable. I load a bunch of cargo on it, head out onto a public road where it fails and causes a serious accident behind me. Your liable.

I would seriously consider the services of a PE. Have them run some calcs on your design and come up with a max load capacity to advertise. There is a reason why companies like Thule are very conspicuous about their products capacity.

We don't state exact weights because the number is largely dependent on how things are mounted, and we have no control over that.

That said, our racks are overbuilt and we've never had an issue.

If you have a large four person tent, go with the premium rack. If not the Tacoma rack will be more than ok.

Just ordered a full set for my 2017 Off-Road DCSB. I've got a Retrax Pro MX tonneau cover, can't wait to have an RTT mounted and still use my full box. Thanks for making such an awesome product!
