Looks great!! What cover are you going to run with it?

PS.....I would kill for any of my trucks to be that clean. Our Tacoma needs a full detailing in the worst way.

I’ve got a Rugged Liner E Series tonneau that I like a lot, that will cover under, and I’ve already got 2 Apache long cases mounted to the rack to hold all of my tools, recovery gear, etc. Still want to add 2 Roto Pax gas cans at some point. I will post some pics when it’s all put together.

As far as cleaning goes, I found a great product for that. I do a automatic machine wash then use this:

Depends on the specific cover, and it also depends on whether or not you are getting a VRS overlanding rack, or the VRS Hi Rise Crossbars.

    https://www.kbvoodoo.com/vrs-tonneau-fitment-guide

What is the total width of your cover?

Tyger covers work with the VRS HRC on our Gladiator, but it's best to measure your cover and double check. The cover can be no wider than 60.63" for the VRS HRC on a 3rd gen Tacoma.

Do the quick release knobs also work with the crossbars on the VRS HRC?

A knob could be used, but the preferred method is to use the supplied button head screws to achieve proper torque values. I just carry a 3/16" allen wrench with me for when I need to remove the bars.

Looking at purchasing the MAX Modular TACO MAX 10" rack with universal awning brackets for a 2010 Tacoma, do you have any codes available?

Go for the 14" unless you have strict height requirements.

Thank you. Curious, why the 14"? Probably going to putting it over a bakflip mx4 if that changes anything.

People who buy the 10 inch rack often email us later asking for the next size up in legs. Nobody ever emails us asking to make their rack shorter.

The 14 inch rack also has better visibility out the rearview mirror.

The same reasoning is why we made a 12" VRS rack versus a 10". The extra 2 inches makes a big difference, but the rack is still very low profile.

Thanks that is great info. Hard to know about visibility until you get it on the truck. I know the tonneau brackets raise it up another couple inches. How does that change things in terms of height and visibility? Basically I like your rack system because I can easily take it off between trips and can still use the bed with a bakflip.
