Has anyone mounted a Yakima Cargo Box (Skybox) on these bars? Using the Yakima factory clamps?

I'm not sure, but I can't see why they wouldn't work.

I think I will attempt a quick 1×2.5" mock up with a piece of wood. I have a feeling it will indeed work

I am gonna be in for a set of these as well. The option to set the crossbars at 3 different heights will be perfect for my needs. Are there any promotions/sales on the horizon? I am from that third world country north of the US and our dollar has been a bit on the weak side since the price of oil went into the toilet. :p

Sorry, no deals on these. In fact, they're about to be discontinued.

Seems to me if you just made a taller version this would work as an over soft top rack?

In theory, but nobody bought this one, so this is my last folly into the world of hi rise crossbars. There are bigger and better fish to fry.
