KB Voodoo remote start issue

    Mods: Is this still a Tacoma?
    That’s why I went with the 12volt solutions it was pure plug n play. KB voodoo requires splicing..opens the doors for mistakes for a non technical person..and even then splicing doesn’t always mean a good connection and god forbid you splice the wrong wire...

    I got my remote start before the plug and play one. Would have saved a ton of time and headache for sure. Especially since I soldered and heat shrink tubed it all.

    Anyways, I’m glad to hear you got it figured out. I’m sure that would be incredibly frustrating.

    I installed the 12volt. It works OK. But range is VERY short and even from 15 ft away is sometimes slow to respond. Sometimes takes a couple tries. Most of the time it works from 20 yards just fine and its worth what it cost.
