Ok so my bed rack came in last week and I finally got around to putting it on. I'm not sure what I want to do with the truck yet ( camper shell, no camper shell, big bed rack, no bed rack) so this KB voodoo set up was perfect for me. I do a lot of snowboarding in the winter ( close to tahoe ) and wanted to be able to set it up for holding a cargo basket, maybe tepui/cvt tent in the future. I still wanted the use of my bed like everyone else and at this price point and its ease of use ( taking off and on ) it was the perfect pick for me.

Install was extremely easy Socket and wrench is all you need basically.

I used a small wing nut to fit into the precut slot of the rack. Most guys that are familiar with roof racks, bike racks, snowboard racks will know. It prevented me from doing any custom drill jobs myself which was nice. I used a wingnut/screw to secure the snowboard rack on top of the bed rack.

Inside of snowboard rack when opened. The wing nut is a good theft deterrent since you cant get into it unless the rack is open. ( locks with keys )

Here is the Rocky Mountain LIFTOP BIGGIE ,that I used for my boards. I think Thule makes one as well that has a premade hole inside the rack so you can secure it onto the bed rack. Most snowboard racks use a clamp to go on top of round bards, square bars or whisp bars instead of a screw .

The total install time is probably 20 minutes or even less. It just took me a bit longer because I was OCD and wanted everything to be perfect.

Shout out to KB Voodoo and Chad Stephenson. I emailed him back and forth during my order and he was extremely helpful and responded as fast as anyone could. The bed rack is well made, powder-coated and very sturdy. I haven't had it long enough to find anything wrong with so if i run into something I'll definitely update.

    Thanks everyone!
