Stirring the pot a little, but I was valuing my truck.. for the fun of it and noticed the OR commands about 2 grand more than the exact same sport.
Both are speced the same--4x4 standard equipment DCLB
Out of curiosity, what are the reasons you guys think?

(I have thought about trading mine in lately for a prius :poking: ahem.. tundra)

Probably because the OR had more equipment, buy whatever makes you happy.

Lockers, suspension, electronics (crawl control, etc.). Lots of differences, even on a stock truck. I think I knew them all back when I bought mine, but that was almost three years ago...

Nope. It is all about supply and demand and location and very little to do with locker and crawl control. Where are you OP?

What's it worth for a private seller on KBB?

Trade in value is always lowball.

Pretty sure the TRDOR has more stuff than a sport and a fully decked out TRDOR msrp is more than a sport...

    Bigger bang for the buck.
Offroad is actually slightly cheaper and you get more for your money when new.

Locker and multi terrain or atrac if you get manual is way better than a fuckin hood scoop

When I got mine I think it was $800 cheaper.

Barely noticeable on such a large purchase but it was slightly cheaper

Try edmunds, KBB seems always off to me. I’m not validating or rebutting what you saw, just generally speaking.

Supply and demand. Used market recognizes the much bigger value in the off road.

Hood with scoop vs electronic locker.

Body painted flares vs crawl control.

Sunglasses holder vs multi terrain select.

    Hitachi suspension vs Bilstein suspension.

Must be because you think so lol. I had a locker on my last three vehicles. Last two had crawl and multi terrain select. Never used them. I use my hood scoop all the time tho...

I need a truck bed. I need 4wd a lot and 4lo every now and then. I don't neew crawl nor multi terrain select or a rear locker. If I would have been looking for the best deal I wouldnt have bought either model. SR is the absolute best deal at $10K less.
