Just a heads up, if you use UPS, you can just take the rack there and they will pack it up for you extra safe for a little extra cash.

Yeah but they’ll charge an arm and a leg for it. It’s ok because I just bought a rack for my new truck so I have boxes and packing material now of someone wants it shipped.

Gotcha! I haven't shipped anything that big/heavy for a hot minute! Just trying to be helpful!

Hey, I have a question about the step/sliders, I've got a short wife(4'10") so steps are a must have. Did you ever actually use them as sliders. I've seen complaints that they don't come out far enough to be effective. Just looking for an honest first hand opinion.

Tell your buddies they’re doing it wrong. Those steps are there to help you get in and out. The sliders are there to act as sliders. So the steps are steps and the sliders are sliders.

I liked them so much I’m thinking of getting the same thing for my Gladiator. It’s a really great design. The steps bolt on and off so you can take them off when you’re heavy wheeling.

Not sure why anyone would want to keep them on if your doing anything really rough as they would just take away from your ground clearance and give you a place to hang up.

Got a couple PM’s first definitive “I’ll take it” and is willing to pick it up gets it. Leaving for Minnesota tomorrow so may have to wait till I get back unless it’s on the way and we can meet up somewhere.
