Hey Mike, thanks for the input! This light bar has had a ton of research and development go into its creation, so the price reflects that combined with the technology and high quality materials. We know that the Pro6 is not within everyone's budget, and we have other offerings that may suit that criteria. With that said, we are offering a discount for TW members only right now because this product is so new to the market and saving some money never hurt anyone

@Taylor@KC HiLiTES I appreciate the response, It is just crazy the prices are on parts for vehicles... Keep in mind that I am not trying to bash you guys as in "KC HiLiTES" just trying to let manufacturers know how I feel and would buy way more and I mean way more if prices were reasonable...

    Get ahold of yourselves.

If you want to buy cheap stuff for little money then do so. Don't expect high quality for the same price.

You're not getting Snap On for Harbor Freight prices.

This isn't a pavement pounder setup and it isn't at a pavement pounder price.

Talking to the dude who wants every product he doesn't need and only wants to be priced affordably for his income level and the guy showing his $20 HIDs like they somehow compare to this product.

It's like going to a home builder and saying "listen, I know these are $400k but if you were selling them for more like $150k then I'd be a buyer. $400k is ridiculous!"

Wrong. $400k is the cost. You can only afford $150k. Go to a different level of neighborhood. Don't expect the level of neighborhood to come to you instead.

KC admittedly does not have the aftermarket presence that the current high quality LED companies do but I've owned their LED pods and they're extremely well designed and made.

Forget the old image of KC.

Not trying to :stirthepot: or :crapstorm: too much in KCs thread because they really do make a very solid and nice product and we stock some of it but their pricing does seems like it needs some adjustment IMHO

For instance, @ChadsPride posted their 2nd gen lower bumper mount which prices out at $1591 and some change. The flex bars are way cool and is putting out a little over 14,500 usable lumens.

Baja Designs in the same regard offers their Onyx6 lower bumper configuration in standard form for $1165, and is putting out just over 22,000 usable lumens. Step that up to their new Hi-Power offering and for $1365 you're laying down almost 35,000 lumens and its a made in the USA product. Just my personal $.02 on the matter and at some point in time I have run or used all 4 of the major brands.

Still KC is a fantastic product and good to see them on the boards.

Thanks for the valuable input here Cliff. Part of me being here with a much stronger/more active presence is to get this kind of feedback from our customers and from those that aren't our customers. We do have different offerings that hit other price ranges too. I know the point you're trying to make is more about prices of our highest end offerings, so this may not be what you're even getting at in mentioning the S8....but we do have our C-Series 30" bar that puts out 16,200 lumens and retails around $450.

EDIT: To compare strictly the price and lumens with the Onx6, our 50" C-Series is 27,000 lm at a cost of $681 and some change, but that's for another thread featuring the C-Series I will make in the future!

I will say that this PRO6 bar was really pricey but worth every penny. It is way more usable than my previous set-up and much brighter. I couldn't be happier with the product and the customer service i received when buying the light. Wish i could have held out for the holiday discounts but either way I am still completely happy with my purchase.

There has been a lot of stuff during the last 7 years of building my truck that i have tried to skimp on forking out the money but over time ended up spending it anyways on top of original purchase to get the better product.
