KC Hilites G4's or Morimoto XB Fogs

Besides price why would anyone choose the Morimoto XB's over the KC Hilites G4's? The G4's seem to be a way better choice in all areas so again besides price why would anyone go with the XB's? Not trying to start a shit show or debate, just want real opinions before I make my purchase. Yes I know @crashnburn80 made a very informative thread on this but I want to here from people who have had both, or one of the other and their thoughts.

 

I started with OEM fogs in my 2014 TRD Sport. I went to Morimoto XB's and liked them somewhat better. Based on @crashnburn80's awesome comparison test, I went with the clear G4's. Absolutely no comparison! The G4's totally blow the XB's out of the water. In fact it's not even close.

 

KCs have 2x the pattern area coverage, 1.75x the output intensity and lower color temp of 5000k vs Morimotos 5500k, plus the KCs have a much longer warranty. The superior performing product is pretty clear. The one thing some may like about the Morimotos is the blacked out look, vs the very subtle not stock look of the KCs.

 

I bought the amber Morimoto fogs a couple months ago. Just waiting for some nice weather to install them. Bought them before I heard about the KC amber fogs.

 

Get the clear G4's not the Amber the light output isn't as good.

I wanted amber over clear which would be better in inclement weather. While amber won't typically be as bright as clear, they should still be brighter than my stock 19w H16 fogs.

Yeah I've got the Amber's, clearly. Real world wise it's much easier to see in crappy conditions IMO

I have them. They're great. But at that price I'd probably have taken my business elsewhere

 

Love my amber G4's. All I can co.pare them to is stock, but definitely nice in not great weather. They also look sweet.
