So from the outer edges, there's about an inch that you could gain if you were to trim them down a little bit. However, the limiting factor may actually be at the top of the lights. That section of bumper right above it is downward sloping, so you may need to bend the light mount bracket on the bumper lower (or if you're going to just cut it off and reweld it on which would be easiest, then account for that) in order to move it forward as much as possible.

Either way, I think you can easily lose an inch in mounting depth. If I were better at welding/had the proper tools I would even attempt this myself.

Looks good. I will be ordering the bumper without powder coating so I can modify details as needed.

@Taylor@KC HiLiTES Can the Universal's be used with the factory foglight harness on an 05-11 Tacoma if you replace the connection on the light itself?

Side note... Does anyone happen to know if these fit in the original All Pro front bumper?

Yes it can! That's what I did. I cut off the connector on the G4 and spliced on an H10 connector I found on Amazon.

We sell these Deutsch to H10 adapters for Fords, but it should work for Tacomas as well. I just don't think we've ever had anyone actually try it out for us.

    Here's what I used:

So I got super lucky and picked up a Pelfreybilt used locally!!
Now working on get fog lights mounted farther forward. Rough cut on one side done. Using a battery powered dremel...:annoyed:10minutes of cutting hours of charging.

Dang!! Looks great so far, although I bet that's a massive pain using a battery Dremel. Keep us updated on how this goes! If you think it is worthwhile when it is all said and done, I may be doing this to my bumper in the future.

    Hi Taylor,

I just sent you a PM with a question about warranty. I just bought a set and unfortunately one wasn't working out of the box :(

Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update to those of you looking for the Amber G4 fog lights. It looks like the Amber G4s won't be available for a couple more months. We're trying to have it back in action ASAP, in huge part due to the overwhelming positive demand from you all on TW for these fog lights!

Is there a benefit of the amber lights over the clear? or do people just like the color? Always wondered why people have yellow fog lights

There are some pretty major benefits to the amber color. Lights with the amber color temperature will perform far better than a white/clear light when conditions are rainy, snowy, foggy, dusty, etc. Basically in any conditions where there are lots of little particles in the air floating around that will cause light to bounce of off. Amber colored lights temperatures have longer wavelengths than their white counterparts, which results in less light bouncing off/reflecting off of particles in the air causing better visibility in dust, fog, rain, or snow. The tradeoff is that amber lights often tend to have a lower lux output value.

So at the end of the day, it depends on what type of conditions you'll be using them in. If you're going to be using them often in these conditions, then I'd opt for amber. If you're not using them poor visibility conditions (or very rarely), then white would likely be your best bet as they'll be a bit brighter.
