@Taylor@KC HiLiTES Do you know if these will fit on the 5th gen 4Runner? They look very similar to the stock mounting. Thanks.

Been lurking hard and finally picked up my new Tacoma yesterday. This was my first purchase for the truck. Purchase in part due to Taylor’s absolutely stellar service, and the quality of the lights as evidenced by the LED fog/pod review thread. First post too holla!

    Install video?
It’s literally plug and play with a single screw. Just reach down and unplug then unscrew and put the new one in.

So, the grill doesn't need to come off.

Yes it's true, its pretty simple to install. The grille doesn't need to be removed. It just takes a few minutes to find your easiest access - from above near the headlight or from below the bumper. That said, making an installation video for these is on my early 2019 task list!

If you want to take the grille off it's two screws and a few tabs to take it off (1min job)

I just installed a set of these on my ‘18. It took about 15 minutes tops from start to finish going in from the top. Using a stubby screwdriver definitely helps. I did notice a screw on the housing and am wondering if it is used for adjustment. I didn’t mess with it but it appears that the cutoff appears to be just as high as the headlights. Would turning the screw on the housing help in aiming the beam?

Is there a new Canadian dealer? TDot Performance does not list these. When I tried to order them from TDot about 6 months ago they said they were not available in Canada.

    Thanks for any info.

Yes, ideally you'll want to use the adjustment screw to aim those down quite a bit. The best way to aim the fogs is actually to install only one side and then aim that side while comparing it to the stock fog light on the other side. However, it seems like you're a bit past that so here's another method. You can get about 10-15 ft away from a wall and turn on the headlights and the fogs. Then, adjust the fog beam so that it is about half way between the ground and the headlight cutoff. That'll get you much closer to stock and improve performance over them being adjusted as high as the headlights.

Hey there, I checked Tdot's website, and it looks like it has them listed and ready to purchase online? Assuming you're looking for the SKU 501 Ambers, they're in stock and ready to go. If you want the SKU 500 Whites, we're out of stock on those at the moment but they would ship from us as soon as they're in stock (should be early to mid Jan). Try the link below. Plus use code "boxing10" at checkout for an extra 10% off their price!

Last time we checked, they did not unfortunately. I think it was tested on @SixthSnail 's old T4R? I wasn't there for the testing however. I'd like to revisit it to see if they could be modified easily (such as grinding/cutting off a small part of the bracket), but I need to see if one of our employees still has his stock bumper in his garage.

Ok thanks. I’ll try that. I guess my mistake was I used their “vehicle selector menu” and it doesn’t show these under 2017 Tacoma.

    Appreciated

Awesome! Please post some pics up once you get them installed. Our offices are closed today and tomorrow, so we'll get to your order after the holiday. Merry Christmas!

They showed up today (after a UPS "out for delivery" tease on Saturday). Install was very easy, its literally one screw and pulling the wiring harness plug (the other side of the fog just sits in slots). It was easier to remove the screw first, then pull the harness plug. I'd also recommend a stubby screwdriver; I couldn't find mine, but a regular/shorter one still worked just fine. I went in from the hood... seems like a tight spot at first, but was plenty enough room to get the job done. Even got lucky and didn't need to adjust them, they're sitting just below my headlight cut off as is. Will post a night shot eventually... at the moment, it's 33f and pouring rain out, lol.

Nice! How does the yellow compare to the stock lights in the rain?
My night vision in the rain isn’t what it used to be.

Nice. I'm glad to hear that you were able to do it all from inside the hood. I looked at mine and thought it was doable but the passenger side look a bit tight. I'll be adding these pretty soon. Thanks for the write up.
