I hope to make it back this year some time. Then we will get the EPIC "MERICA" taco pic! I'll have my rear bumper and rear kings w/relocation this week. So my truck will be up to par with both of yours.

Thanks dude! I’m still trying to figure out where to put my reservoir brackets, then it’ll be 100%. My GF absolutely loved the eggs too so thanks for those!

I don't know man. This weather up here is so unpredictable. Saturday was 90 then Sunday was 60 with snow up in the mountains lol. I still have to get it powdercoated so the bumper wont be on the truck for another 2-3 weeks but the kings should be on asap.

Were you rubbing your shock bodies when flexed once you did the relocate?

Yes I was, I went with 1.75 spacers to keep the stance the same front to back but I don’t think I needed that much. Hopefully I can flex it soon and see.

You might be close with the backspacing on the Ray 10s but my methods were like 4.75” and hit bad so I doubt the .5 difference will play a huge roll.

Im looking at Bora 1" spacers. I just measured my studs and they are a hair over 3/4". But then I'll have to do the fronts as well. I guess we'll wait and see

My ladyfriend is on vacation all week but I had the weekend off so I decided to take the pup out for his first camping trip. We went up through Denio then down to Knott Creek Reservoir. Absolutely beautiful drive, some small rocky patches but nothing too bad. There was a lot of people at the lake, easily 20+ trucks and most had trailers and quads so I’m assuming it’s a pretty big hunting spot. Saw a lot of good looking antelope. The weather was kind of shit so I went past the lake looking for something a little more secluded and protected from the wind. We found a decent spot near the top of another range and decided to set up while there was still some light and no rain. The winds picked up as the night went on, and then I was woken up by pouring rain at 2am. Thankfully I put the rain fly back on the tent before the trip so we stayed dry but it got very cold. In the morning the dash said it was 38* out and it definitely felt it. I packed up quick and started trying to find roads to cut down to BRD so I didn’t have to double back. Hit some springs along the way, found a few muddy spots on the playa, and then made friends with a local in Gerlach who showed me a way to sneak in to the main spring there. It dumped rain on 445 on the way home so most of the mud got washed off.

The truck performed phenomenal, handled great at speed and over the little bit of rocky stuff. I really need to redo my lower shock mounts on the rear so I get more up travel but I’ll probably wait till my Deavers are in and do it right this time.

    Incoming pic dump!

Definitely plan on heading back up there this summer. I tried going to Blue Lakes a few years ago from the other side of the range but got lost. Still found some cool abandoned mines and mills though!

You ever set up the annex for your tent? I imagine it’s cramped with the mid height rack?

I bottomed out once kind of hard hitting a wash going too fast but for the most part it didn’t seem too bad, I can just tell when I try and get flexy I can’t stuff the tires much.

I haven’t yet with the bed rack, it will definitely be a little low but still useable in a pinch. I could walk under the tent but it helps that I was on uneven ground haha.

You won't get lost from the onion side. It's like 1/16 of a mile walk.

Sounds easy enough. When you guys did the cross NV trip what route did you take up by Denio?
