I have a 22 SR 2.7L and I wanna know if a Kd max 9.0 tune would do anything for me. Anyone have it done to their 4 cylinder? I want to know if it’s worth it for a 4 cylinder. Thanks.

I am sure some other resources can say the same but yes if you have an automatic we have support for the 3rd gen 2.7L (expect the 2019 year) and I have worked with several owners. Though I do not have any dyno metrics the updates and owner feedback match our expectations of better throttle control, improved shift points, and a nice pull in each gear.

With the 2.7s we can't compete with outcome of the V6s but the same general logic is applied to make a stock 2.7 a much better 2.7. Please let me know where you are located and if you need help with a KDMAX Pro in-person or remote tuning option!

I provided a tune for a client with the same truck just this weekend. Other than wanting a little more throttle response after the initial flash, which I addressed for him right away, he was very happy with the outcome! He was slightly lifted with somewhat larger tires as well.

He left a review on my website as well, if you're curious - Michael N.

Let me know if you have other questions or concerns! Happy to help anyway I can!
