Has anybody purchased the KDJO Grab Handle recently?? I know they had some quality control issues and other problems in the past. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I really like the idea of having a drivers side handle. But after all the crap that they put out there in the past, I cant bring myself to order from them. Plus, it seems like kind of a waste of money considering I could just grab the steering wheel if I need to. Just my 2 sheckles...

They came out with a new version recently. Rev 1 now sells for $100, Rev2 is $170. Lots of people around here had issues with the company and their crappy customer service so the were shown the door. With that said they are still the only option if you want a drivers side grab that looks OEM.

The short version - product itself is ok, company totally sucks. If you order one and receive it in a reasonable amount of time with everything you need to install it included, consider yourself fortunate.

Ktjo has a lot of unique products that I’d like to have but with the past posts here I’m not sure I want to take the chance.

someone else needs to come up with door pull pocket lights and auto folding mirrors…

Got mine within a week. Picked it up when they threw a sale on them. Instructions were poor and I'm sure I was missing a few bolts and washers but in the end got it to fit and does the job. No complaints from me.

A lot of that stuff is just re-engineered Toyota/Lexus parts.

I ordered my handle about 2 weeks ago after i took delivery of my new truck. Shipping was quick and i had it in my hands less than a week after ordering. I had zero issues at all with the install. I ordered the V2 though so I cannot comment on the V1

    V1s are seconds.

I went the smart route with mine, I purchased from a member on here who had it in their possession. My power bolt cover doesn't fit 100%, but I haven't done a ton of work finagling with it to see if I can get it sit in the depression better.

Verizon 2 is a totally different design by the looks of it on their website.

I've had the handle and her tailgate lock for two years now. Both are great.

I have it. It’s a must have for me because I’m used to the handle on my 2nd gen. Bought it when it first came out. Quality control really sucks. Some sand paper & a razor blade will fix the issue. She (owner) reply to all my questions within reasonable time frame. There’s a few thread within TW about this and some has different experience with her though.

KTJO had some struggles, especially during COVID with Supply Chain issues. With much negativity from TW, she didn't quit. And I think TACO owners aren't quitters. KTJO came out with a V2 Driver Side Grab Handle but, right now, the V1 Driver Side Grab Handle is on sale! I got mine at full price and it's worth it. I can't be without it. (Why didn't Toyota include it?). It's an easy install. Get your V1 before they're all gone. https://www.ktjo4x4.com/collections...oducts/driver-side-grab-handle-3rd-gen-tacoma.
