KDMAX 6.0/OVTune April 4-17-2021 K&D Tuning

I've got a manual. Had the OV Tune before the KDMax 6. Definitely peppier with the KDMax 6. Seems a lot more responsive too. I also clocked 17.4 mpg on my last trip home from work. I don't think I've seen it that high since it was stock, haha. Definitely a fan!

Thanks guys, I appreciate you coming out here to the Phoenix area and doing all those tunes. Before, I would go up to Payson to visit with family. Payson for those who are not from AZ is about 5500' and I'm from Chandler which is around 1500 feet. So that trip is going up and down mountains. With the old tune I would always be hunting for gears. Up shift down shift, and would never go past 4th gear unless I'm going down hill with a good tail wind, then it may hit 5th gear. After last weekend's tune, I went up to Payson on Sunday. This new tune drover more like my 2nd gen 4.0 Tacoma I had before I bought this one. It ran great and the constant up and down shifting were gone. Also before I left the tune area on Saturday, I did a test drive around the bldg. First time ever I was able to spin my tires without a wet road. LOL Thanks again guy!!! Much appreciated

Just was curious if there is any idea of when the next tune day will be. I was trying to make this one but my lift and wheels took forever to ship.

So its been well over a week now and I see the difference. Not just in the tune, but with me. I find myself hopping in the truck more and running errands around town instead of taking the wife's car. It is definitely nice to keep up with traffic instead of lumbering along. I didnt take the wife's car to work all week last week to "Save on gas" (excuse). The tune has definitely revitalized my enjoyment in the truck.
