Talk to me about KDMax tune for the 2nd gen. I don't see any posts in the 2nd gen forum about this.
I need to do TSB-0044-14 ( https://www.tsbsearch.com/Toyota/T-SB-0044-14) but I can't get the dealer to come back to me with a price.
A local Toyota specialty shop provided the name of a KDMax tune guy in our area and said to just get a tune. He hasn't done a 2nd gen yet since it's apparently so new.
It's at a price that's a bit steep for my wallet right now but if it works well it could be worth it.
I'm tired of buying 93 at these higher prices to keep the spark knock at bay so I need to do something.

Go for it. I ended up doing it. Will report more after a few more miles.
But it did solve my spark knock issues so I don't need to run 93 anymore. And I notice much better shifting transition points into and out of OD.
There is also better power on throttle tip in.
