    Man!

If I had a spare Tacoma, it would be a TRD Pro!

And I would definitely get them both tuned.

I had to re-read his post, I think he means if they are tuning the only vehicle they have, not 2 Tacomas lol.
Yes I tune my one and only Tacoma (my daily), couldn’t imagine driving without it.

When I bought my boat, I had the KDMax tune, it was okay towing. But after switching to OTT, towing with the special settings is a dream. I was able to maintain 9MPG towing this fully loaded boat to and from San Diego. Keep in mind my truck gets 13/16 normally.

Boat, trailer, ice, fuel, fishing gear is like 5000 lbs.

Hey Man, I thought he was talkin' bout' ONE PERSON BEING a multi-Tacoma owners. lol

    WOW!!!

    That's a nice set-up, "Q".

I would love to own a boat! I never had a mentor (Father/Uncle) to introduce me to such an exciting adventure craft.

And that one seems like A nice size to utilize. I think I'd want one more for swimming so a platform at the back would be ideal.

Boats seem to be for those who sink money into it for all the MX (Maintenance) and storage/upkeep.

The beaches are within 38-45 miles from my location in Dover, DE. So the 9/mpg could be a small price to pay for a day's adventure.

I had the OTT 8.0 update done this past weekend/Sat thanks to Allan our regional Tuner. I'm loving the improved gas-peddle response and MPGs have improved significantly. ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) response is great too!

Would like to get your feedback on PM about the boat. I'd have to convince my wife and our bank account to do such an endeavor.

I have. There’s no way I’d go back to stock. If or when you decide to do it, you’ll be wishing you would have done it sooner.

We’re not much for the “name your tune” thing, so we’re just going with OTT (Overland Torque Tune).

I think you guys are tapping me over the cliff! I found a tuner in Grand Rapids, MI who just happens to be RIGHT on my way when I go on vacation next month. He said I could stop by on my way up north and he'd tune it. I live in NW Indiana, and I wasn't able to find anybody close by. Maybe I wasn't doing the search right.

Today traffic here in wet ass Washington was royal pissing me off ,so definitely was giving it the beans today and phew I love how the power comes on in this tune . So the other day I did give her WOT and this old man in a new Nissan Titan XD diesel I gave him a run. I probably had about a Tacoma and a half ahead of him and he didn't even come close. Next stop light he gave me a thumbs up . Old dudes like that are awesome . Honestly I figured that diesel titan would have whooped me . I probably almost weigh as much as he does stock lmao. I've done hard pulls with kdmax but I have never felt this kinda trqs in any tune . OTT comes highly recommend especially heavy tacomas .

So here's some more numbers for you fellas and followers. I did my best to keep it at 60mph in my neck of the country good ole up and down Washington state coast . I'm serious on the 60mph . If my fat Tacoma can get these kinda mpgs on 315/75/16s stock gears and weighing at or over 5400lbs , could you imagine what a stock tacoma can get or even a mild modded Tacoma. Maybe if I get the high flow dump tubes and solid motor mounts probably see more slight increase . You know would be fun is to go up against a Magnuson charged Tacoma at least try why not . I can say I've never come across one on south I-5 .

I’m nothing with my customers… so I treat them how I would treat myself. The OTT network steps up and takes care of people. Where are you located? Send a PM if you have any questions!

    cheers!

OTT 7.0 was loaded on my Sport three weeks ago (May 22) then I found out about 8.0.

Medium/Mild is what I have and initally, 7.0 made a significant improvement over OEM tune.

The throttle was very reactive so I had to learn not to tap it too hard (no pun intended).

8.0 took away that reactionary launch...now, the throttle isn't as instantaneously reactive...but still has the power almost immediately!

Runs great with ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and the MPGs has improved.
