This is in no way meant to be a pitch to try and sway you, but we do have options for those who have already been tuned. Anyone previously tuned should contact John at info@overlandtailor.com and discuss your details with him.

I sent an email this morning inquiring on a vin locked tune pack that I can flash myself. Waiting on a reply.

I’m a currently on KDMAX PRO+ and I do like it but I do want to try the OTT Overlander tune.

I can confidently say that the KDMAX group has top notch customer service!

The developers are definitely some great guys. they do what they can to accommodate customers and get their tune dialed in for customers. That's what's important to customers is the service and flexibility. Cause in the end you want the customer to be happy . I've been very blessed to have worked with many developers alike . Kdmax isn't the only group out there with 5star service .

From my experience I can say every individual tune is meant for that one person . I want to say tune specific. Everyone has a specific job for their taco . Honestly I think it's silly for someone to bash on ones hard work. Just cause it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it's not helping others . I'm someone that has taste tested so many different tunes . I'm not the only one that has but I will say everyone has different tastes .

So I'm currently on my way home driving probably shouldn't be on Tacoma world. Good thing for speech to text. I can't give a final review but I'm telling you right now from the guy on the Washington State Coast I'm really digging this tune in my 5400 lb truck on stock gears and 315.75-16s

I'm on the second file but I think we're going to have to jump to the spice it up with the stock gearing and my tire size definitely need more juice.

Screw it so I guess I'm reviewing as I'm driving who does that me. My fuel mileage is definitely gone up truck really likes this tune. My commute today I've done it many times and it never has been this fun

Say if you're in 5th gear just cruising the downshift to 4th is one of the smoothest shifts I've ever felt from a tune and even the downshift from 5th to 3rd I'm really impressed it is super smooth

The Overland tune has spoken! I'm not allowed to say the other guys name like a bad word out of my mouth but it's great to see guys taking a leap and trying the tunes! More MPG, smoother shifting, it's all good news!

There may not be a tune for everyone, but glad this tune is working for you!

Jeez, must have really made an impact if you can't even wait until your first drive is over to start leaving micro reviews :D!

I see that you've had the opportunity to try a lot of the different tunes floating around. Once you get some good time in with Overland Tailor, I'd love to see your full review. Have fun out there!

Well I guess we got quite the wind here trying to hold 65 you know it's wanting to stay in fifth gear but as I speak and just kick down into fourth

Hmmm.... I ran OVTune from the beginning and love my current KDMax Pro tune. Moving to this is tempting but not at that price. I wish I could try it to see, but I'll continue with my current tune.

So got to have a chat with Ott and just like I said this is the low end nice torque tune the top end you know no top end power which I'm okay with I mean it still has some power up top but definitely prefer the bottom end and that's what these trucks really need. Kdmax does have a ripping top end . Easy to get to a 100 + mph . What else I can say which isn't in the topic we are talking about is valley runner . I feel Termlimits doesn't get enough credit for what his tune is meant for . Like I've said before valley runner is my eco tune . I've been chasing tunes , testing tunes and soooo much time giving tunes chances to win my heart awwwhhh . Lmao but seriously. Ott you definitely made some magic . I couldnt imagine how this tune would do with a regear. I honestly second thinking a regear now . Probably still will I'm getting many miles on my truck and it would be a refresh for this getting old girl , my sweet taco
