Nothing from them yet. They have had it for a day and a half now.

Has anyone ever been questioned at the dealership under warranty for a tune?

Trailriding in CO mtns this week w/my 21 TRD OF AT and the KDMAX 6.0 LT Reg. tune. Can't say enough good things about how well my Taco is performing on multiple levels, on and off road: Fuel economy ave 22-25 mpg alternating between 87 & 91 Oct gas. Luv how responsive my throttle is not only on the hwy but also in 4Lo on the mtn trails where hesitancy or lurching on switchbacks & shelf trails can get U in serious trouble in a hurry. Throttle lag is totally gone. Smooth steady power. Thanx PapaRae

Nope. Have you ever tried to get them to do a tsb/let alone plug their laptop in to your obd? They don’t want to and it takes either knowing someone at the dealer or some serious strong arming for them to do it haha. There have been times when techs drive the truck back to the lot after service and say something alone the lines of “man that truck’s running great”!

I've put 945.5 miles on this tune over the past few weeks and have been extremely pleased with it. During that time I've used 55.931 gallons for a calculated and adjusted for tire-size MPG of 16.9 MPG.

I'm happy with that milage and it seems to be going up as time goes on.

More importantly, this truck is a pleasure to drive now. I wish for a little more tip-in aggressiveness, but it's perfectly adequate and enjoyable to drive. Engine and tranny act as one would intuitively expect, instead of the bat-shit crazy shift patterns of stock and some other tunes.

    100% recommend this tune.

    Regular, the most aggressive available

I'm just trying to push some decent weight along, and my tires are fairly heavy as well.

Always nice to provide our clients with a climate controlled garage to do their calibrations in as the AC will be nice this week as we expect 100* + Temperatures.

As an advocate, we help our clients become educated on the options available to them. This helps them make the best decision possible when it comes to calibrating their Late Model Toyota Trucks.

Took my truck in for alignment last week. Owner of the shop thought my truck was supercharged! I run on KDMax LT settings. Truck is on 295/70r17 Yokohama G003

    A few.
Any idea how long it takes for it to learn the higher octane and are there any performance reductions until it does re-learn?

    Just so everyone knows:
We have updated our entire tune library (over 400 files) with the latest VFC files on the latest Vftuner software.

Are there any updates on the possibility of 2016+ 2.7 tunes? I found out recently a nephew of mine has the 2.7.

There are 2 files in VFtuner for the 2.7L. One is for the 2016 Auto, and the other is for the 2017 Auto.
I do have a tune for those specific trucks only. 04a21 and 04a22

What’s the consensus on performance? Are those tunes mostly drivability and transmission management, or are you eeking a little more power out of it too?

Shifting, throttle, and Power. Although it is limited by the number of settings/maps available in vftuner. Not even close to the 3.5L V6.
