Yup, I think any time tacoma owners get out to the country we're in our element. My ex in laws are in Johnson bayou area, near the coast on the Texas side, real good people, I miss them and hearing their tales of growing up and raising families. Country is country, no matter where you are, just like tacoma owners, we're thick

Been about 5 months since the tune and I feel like my taco has started to re-learn some of its old bad shifting habits

All these trucks seem to have their own personality, that's my disclaimer. But here's what worked for me because I felt the same in my truck. About once a month, i get horsey with her, open her up some. It seems to be working. I do it on my drive home from work m work. On the way in, if I haven't for a while, I have a straight run where I do the speed limit on 4wd hi for a few miles just to keep things lubed per the manual, think it recommends more often but it is what it is. Just my thoughts

Yes, since I've been opening it up at least once a month, I'm lucky enough to have a slow route or quick route home, I've not had that pop up again. But I have had a problem with every tune I've tried in the winters here. Mostly that stumbling, bucking at low speed thing

Very correct . Summer time don't worry as much, but fall winter I use remote start when I'm about to head out the door in the next 5min. That time of year defroster is set to max and butt heat max lol

I was wondering also should resets be done seasonally on tunes . Well due to temperature changes , how much does it mess with the lv's when seasons change . Really does it matter? These are questions I have been pondering since being involved with the tuning community.

No remote start here, spent that money on one for my wife's car, but she has seat warmers and I'm not sure why I did that. Lol I've thought of buying the full tuner pack to try and work thru it on my truck but am afraid I don't have the available time needed and will make it worse

I’ve not had this happen yet on the KDMax tune. If it ever does I’ll try resetting lv & at.

Never thought of resetting values seasonally. Maybe that's what's needed, if temps increase or decrease across the tacos sensors by a certain temp, values are reset & relearned.......

Do you think the At values would need reset? Guess it can't hurt to try, it's like a haircut, it'll grow out and you can try to get it right the next time.

The best way I look at our trucks engine and far as tuning goes for them , is they are very very picky what you do to them . The slightest changes can do way to much or nothing at all. I definitely can say the urd crossover ypipe doesn't like getting along with any tunes . I've had to do a handful of resets with that damn thing. As of right now my truck is ripping tits . Just every now and then she starts acting up . Wtf

I've been bouncing back and forth on tunes so much lately, I've put a post-it in my console so I know what one I'm trying. Lol

Exactly , spring and summer time everything's warmer so you think if you say install tune in those months the lv's are gonna learn warm temps and vice versa winter. Unless someone wants to chime in and say different. I'm not no pro tuner or tuner of any kind, but I do have a brain and im ocd and I pay close attention to every detail to my truck , oh and add/ADHD. Lol my Tacoma is my tinker toy .
