Are you on regular, or premium fuel tune? thanks for the report, and feedback. 6.0 is a super solid tune. BIG THANKS TO KREG & DAVE, for this gem! Ski

Having withdrawals from no more testing, Lol

Feels weird not constantly testing and calling Dave @TWTaco 10x a day.
I had him driving his truck around till 1-2am most nights. Then going to re flash, then repeat.
Thank you to all the testers.

I have tried both, the first one was a little lazy in the throttle but the second one being a little more touchy is great, maybe a little too much. Im currently on the premium tune with a more touchy throttle response, so what is that tune titles as? so the regular throttle tip is the most aggressive? That's what I'm on and liking it and getting more use to it.

Whats up y'all. I just recently switched from the M+W VVT DaCruiser 3.3 tune to the KD Max 6.0 premium/regular tip in tune on a full tank of 93oct fuel and can tell you the difference I noticed off the bat was smoother shifting and increased mpg. Although 42mi was only taken into account, I was averaging between 22mpg in city/24mpg in hwy (averaging speed @65mph) driving for the short duration. Prior to tune change I was averaging 16mpg city/18mpg hwy. Shifting from gear to gear was very subtle and smooooth. It was mostly flat terrain driving out in Norfolk, VA. I couldn't be more impressed and satisfied with this recent tune change. It’ll only gets better from here on out. Great job @PapaRee and @TWTaco and continue the great work, it sure is paying off!

I am running non ethanol rec fuel (premium)... almost 4.00 a gallon. LoL! I am averaging well over 20 mpg's by the pump, calculated, not by the computer. so, there is that. :D Ski

I did too before changing to "truck" tires and a lift. Back in 2.0 beta time, I managed 450 miles out of the tank on 87.
My Grange store sell non ethanol for the same price.

I’ve only been able to go about 30 miles yet. Been slammed at home with work.

I want to do an honest review after some miles

So far, I’ve got some things I’m monitoring. I can see where a truck with stock gears and 33’s or under would really love the tune. It’s peppy AF 1-4 even with the light throttle on my heavy pig.

    Gotcha!
My KCLV is up to 28.2 on this tune. Stayed around 26-27 on the Kruiser.
Maybe I got some really good gas! I buy the Mobil Supreme+ 93 octane, no ethanol.
It has gone up to $3.49/gal here in Louisiana. A month ago it was $2.79.

Yeah I don’t do premium unfortunately. That does help ALOT with these trucks.
And no non ethanol close to me. Which is weird cause I kinda live in the sticks.

Hi,drive almost 200 miles on the flats and mountains of south Puerto Rico with regular tip in version 6.0,87 oct and i really like it.Smooth throttle, tip in is perfect, city and flat highway driving feels excellent, climbing rurals roads in the 15 to 30 mph feels phenomenal with lot of torque.Engine is very smooth.Mpg with my 31.6 tires are good, maybe 1 or 2 mpg better than others tunes.Only minor thing is when I drive in the highway in the 60 to 70 mph range and start to climb a steep hill I need to give a long push to the pedal for downshift maybe this is personal preference but it distract me from my overall great experience with the tune, but other than this i feel that 6.0 is a killer tune.My 2016 taco feels like a new truck!!!You really make and excellent job!!!!!!!!!
