I got my tune yesterday on a 2016 OR w/69K that I bought new. This tune woke up the truck for sure and helped me re-enjoy it as if it were new again!

Got my 21 Manual done yesterday by Sean at my house due to a family emergency I was canceling mine. He came to house and was a great person to deal with. Noticed the difference within minutes and now use Mid Grade gas as well.

Thanks to @cemented for tuning my truck with the KDMax LT tune last night! It’s no joke when people say it drives like a whole new truck. I can no longer say my 2014 Prius drives better than my 21 Taco anymore:rofl:

@NickJacq23 got me fixed up last week with the 87oct LT tune, very happy with the results! Shifting points are dead on where the need to be. Also with 285s im getting better milage than previous to the tune.

Got my tune about 2 weeks ago by @cemented in Oregon. LOVE IT.

I went with the Light Tip-In, and even then it was really aggressive for the first week. Once the computer realized all that was going on, the tip-in is much more smooth, but the acceleration past the 2nd gear is so much better. I'll feel a lurch here and there, but much less than with stock.

This for sure should have been the first thing I did when I bought the truck... you live and you learn!

If there's ever an update on the tune, will official tuners update those who already have to the tune for free? Or is there an update fee? My tuner is 8 hours away from me, so it would be quite the trek.

I agree. If we are just updating a tune or fixing a problem, it will be free. But if we do an Upgrade or improvement. There will be a fee/cost.

All of us do this for a job or second job. So we are trying to make extra money and have invested a lot of time and money to do this.
We will always go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. We want everyone to be happy driving their Tacoma.

This thread will always be the place for announcements of Updates or New tunes.

I may have missed it, but can the throttle setting be changed on the fly? Or even changed at all without revisiting the tuner? I'm wondering if you are able to get multiple presets in case one is too aggressive or if you want to change it for a different driver.

Only way is to have the tune set with different throttle on ECT and Drive. Just those 2 are editable.
At present ECT is more aggressive than Drive. But some have asked and gotten ECT as a Lower throttle option.
