    It will learn and settle over a few tanks of gas. You may have to do a reset and re flash. Or you can upgrade to the new KDMax-Pro tune.

    Hey guys, I stopped reading this thread for a minute and didn't realize there was a new version. Is the Reset ECU & Clear TCU functionality working in the latest version of VFT? I haven't done anything tuning related since the 7.0 update (SLT), and tbh my truck is slowly starting to revert back to driving more like stock, so seems like maybe a freshy tune will do the trick. But, I don't want to mess around with Tech Stream if I don't have to.

    We have talked about it. Every truck gives us different numbers and there are so many factors involved--tires, gears, year truck, temp., octane, etc...
    Our tune is more about DRIVEABILITY.
    But just to please everyone with some numbers, Dave has agreed to get his truck Dyno'd again, soon.
    Once we do, we will post it up here.
    If anyone else wants to Dyno there truck and get some comparison numbers, reach out to Dave and me by PM and we will help with the costs.

    Kdmax pro is amazing!!
    With my gears and 315s I like the KDMP light throttle it feels like you get to use the peddle more instead of using 1/4 of it. And super smooth into the power the wife even commented “your truck seems smooth now” so if she approves it’s a go haha I guess that’s why it’s called wifey tip in lol

    I'm running it and it's awesome.
    Mire low end torque, truck gained speed in 6th gear on places where I'd have to downshift to 5th, fuel mileage seems to be improved but I've only run about 1/3 tank of fuel so far.
    Went wheeling on Saturday, tune performed well, my Yokohama Geolandar M/T didn't do too well on ice tho.

    Went from KDMAX6 regular aggressive throttle to KDMAXPro Sport.
    I stopped paying attention to my MPG a while ago so I can't really comment on if there was an improvement there but a few things I did notice over my course of a tank of gas since the tune are below.
    Opinion is based on about 10% city, 70% highway and 20% off-road from a full tank of 87 gas since the tune.
    - smoother shifting from 1-4
    - holds gear even better on hill areas
    - throttle from a complete stop is way better, really smoothed out the jerky acceleration from the KDMAX6. Used to have to really consciously feather the gas to get a smooth start, almost felt like it was either 0% or 100% just touching the gas most of the time. KDMAX Pro Sport has really improved in that area in my opinion, drivability is a huge improvement. Off-roading is a huge improvement now too, as I feel like I have more control of power input with the gas pedal.
    - Not sure if it's just the improvement from the above point but in 4H and 4L, torque band felt like it came to a lot sooner. Some areas I usually off-road in I climbed over easier with less effort or having the mash the gas.

    Stock tune had set the bar pretty damn low and KDMAX6 really improved on it so my initial thought was I really didn't think it could get better. KDMAXPro really refined the previous tune, I would recommend this over the previous hands down.

    Thanks Alex for your feedback with your Sport MT.. I am running the Yoko's as well and that is the only negative i have heard they don't work well in snow and ice.

    Haven't done full tank tests between the octanes yet, still on same original tank of 87. Will post here when I learn more. The boss tells me it's learning on octane 87-93.
